Vanney's gone. Maybe Bradley and Jozy too. I hope for our sake that Gio doesn't force his way out.

I have counted 1 ball actually to him - all the rest are nearer to defenders.

Most fans were satisfied just making playoffs they didn't want to adjust anything mid season that could jeopardize that.

I know are chances are basically nil. I know we are fucked. Vanney should be gone imho, and I have supported him. If he makes no subs at half then i am firmly in the fire Vanney camp. Bunch of pylons take your pick but mix it up. Fight back this is fucking embarrassing. If we go out like this Vanney must be gone. Must.

If this how the season goes down bad feeling about Gio not staying.

Hard to say, he could also use it as motivation to stay and redeem himself.

I agree with the above post. If Vanney makes no subs at half he's surely secured his firing.

Dunno if getting another coach would help....They would just go for another American....Their is a reason no american is coaching pro football in a league that matters....they are all shit and dont know the sport.

Reason that the top 5 teams in the conference made playoffs is because the 6th place team isn't good enough, we're proof of that

Where do Jozy and Michael go, nowhere unless they get a team to pick up their very high wages. Not going to leave all their doe on the table.

Not sure most fans would agree with this statement. Maybe sarcastically saying "happy with the playoffs" but in all our hearts that's never enough.

Jozy will 100% have suitors either overseas or here

MLS would "help" with the salaries should major US markets want them. It's all about marketing and they would sell a lot more shirts in US cities.

For $5,000,000, he was making no where near that at Sunderland. Someone would really need to step up for him to consider it. He did score 13 goals this season by the way.

Oh man if that was true everyone would have supported a coaching change after the disastrous games at the start of the summer where it was clear vanney was out of his depth. There was plenty of support to give him the season but the only reason he got support was due to the Giovinco factor. It was clear we wouldn't be able to field consistent performances with the strategy s employed. Everything relied on Giovinvco doing what he does.

    Again, no.

A few games ago people were saying there defence was crap.

This result is based on two things:

    a) Vanney stuck with Findly on the right and Findly can't play defence worth shit. That exposes Jackson. Jackson was having good games, and had a good first half on Sunday. But, once a really good attacker goes at him, he needs support.

    b) Our defence has no confidence or composure. None. Once we go down or even once we get pressured, these guys cave.

The roots of this go back to game #2 in Columbus.

Bez knew this coming into this season. He planned on Perquis learning the ropes of the league with Caldwell. Caldwell gets injured and has to retire. Perquis basically is on his own back there with one LB and some kids. We get Williams and Kantari as stop gaps. None of them are composed on the ball or composed defending. We back off all the time......I see more shots of William's arse then his face.

I have to say I am pretty confused as to how we could put out the exact same lineup as last match and look this much worse. Besides the 10 minutes when they dominated us last week we were still competitive even in the 2nd half. We were never in it at all today, how do you even explain that?

Although to be fair he looked like our best defender in pre-season. Injuries are a bitch.

This team was poorly set up with a defense we all knew was suspect, and a coach who thinks Robbie Findley is day-in, day-out starter.

Doubt that. Altidore has all of the body parts, should ve a world class athlete, but clearly is not. He reminds me of Colin Samuels.
