I haven't looked up the salaries so I don't have a clue, but remember that Italian salaries are reported as net salaries, after taxes etc. Unlike MLS & most places. That has a huge impact when comparing reported Italian salaries.
I'm pretty sure Pirlo at 2.3M is only for part of the year.
Pirlo wouldn't get out of bed for $2.3M a year.

When Pirlo signed with NY, it was reported that he's on $8M a year.

Great ten minutes for Seba. Hopefully he gets some more minutes vs Norway. Pelle is unreal. His ******s are actually some of the best I've ever seen. Wins every long ball and puts it on a platter for whoever is making a run off him with chest or head. Does it for club and country.
Pirlo makes 9 mill per year. Since he arrived late this year he will earn a little under half of that. I think Dos Santos is highest paid.
Anyone know if the Italy game is on TV today? I wouldn't mind watching to see if Giovinco gets some more minutes. Damn guy is making me want to cheer for Italy (as long as he is on the team)...never thought I would ever do that LOL. I can't find a listing but there are a few "Teams TBA" listings so I am guessing might be one of them if televised at all.
Italy: Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Darmian, Florenzi, Montolivo, Soriano, De Sciglio; Pellč, Eder
Italy bench: Sirigu, Padelli, Astori, Ranocchia, Santon, Candreva, Bonaventura, Bertolacci, Zaza, Giovinco, El Shaarawy, Quagliarella
Norway: Nyland; Elabdellaoui, Hovland, Forren, Aleesami; Johansen, Tettey; Skjelbred, Henriksen, Berget; Soderlund
Norway bench: Jarstein, Andre Hansen, Svensson, Strandberg, Linnes, Nordtveit, Odegaard, Samuelsen, Selnaes, Berisha, King, Veton Berisha
It's on Sportsnet ONE.
By the way, handy website for Canadian soccer TV listings: http://www.canadasoccertv.ca/
Italy game got bumped off SN.

I'm seeing the NED v CZE game on sportsnet one.
hmmm...
Seba on for Italy with a half-hour to go. Italy currently down 1-0.
Nice run and cross from Seba draws Italy level. Off defender's chest so likely no assist.
Seba finding space and forced good save from keeper. Incredible how an MLS player is changing the game for the Azzurri, LOL.
He's playing great again today for Italy...
His goal will come... His start, well we have to see if he's given that one of these days...
"...Money wasn't tight, but it like, it wasn't right..."
Seba plays Candreva through beautifully. Ball goes in but incorrectly ruled back for offside.
In stoppage time alone he almost scored a spectacular long-range effort after beating defender, then nearly got his assist after a 30 yard run. His pace and imagination is so desperately needed by this team. Did much more in a half-hour than Eder (Italy's in-form player) managed to do in a full hour.
All in all, a successful return to La Nazionale for Seba, Conte will definitely be keeping a close eye on him now.

Very nice performance by Giovinco today. Had a hand in both Italy goals. This guy is the real deal.
Seba once again makes a huge impact.
SG helped his case tonight. Very respectable 30 minutes. Getting on Euro squad still iffy but this helped.
Have to echo what others have said, it blows my mind we have a player like Seba at TFC.
Played very well when he came on. Nice to see. Almost scored a super long range goal too. He is so much more comfortable taking risks on tough shots/plays now due do his skyrocket confidence.
For anyone interested, SN1 is replaying the match now. If you only care about Seba's contributions, tune in at the hour mark.
