RSL buck the trend with a huge win in Colorado... and a beauty free kick goal from Joao Plata...

And the backstory

So tonight we want a NYRB win. Make a full stop to the Montreal momentum and leave them 4 points behind us without any games in hand. Wouldn't mind a few reds and yellows.
Anyone see the highlights from the last Fire game? I can't look them up at work, but Gilberto with 2 posts, then an utterly ridiculously athletic goal. I still like the guy. I hope he finds success. I always wonder how he would have been with us if he and Defoe didn't hate each other.
Just tuning in to NY/MTL. C'mon tie game!
And with a flurry in the MLT box, Oyongo gets a hand ball red card PK.
1-0 NYRB
Wow, another PK for NY in the 26th minute.
Save Bush!
Is mtl nyrb on tv
Nope.
Come on ref I could swear I saw at least 2 red bulls with red card-able offences
Come on Red Bulls Win and get reds
Oduro just messed up a great chance, maybe the last one for Montreal.
What we were looking for Montreal looses and are 4 points behind us and no games in hand.
3 Impact out for their next match.
Donadel & Ciman with accumulation.
F*** the Impact!!
Watched the White Caps vs Dallas tonight... that's 2 hours I'll never get back. Vancouver has lost their way at the wrong time..both team looked very poor tonight. I've spent most of the last year or two wishing TFC could be as good as Vancouver. First time that I am starting to think that we can compete. The test will be in the next three games against good opposition.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
Yup too bad. If Montreal loses vs Colorado and we manage to win/tie vs New York, might be setting up a dandy opportunity to kick the Impact out on 25th. Pressure is on all of us teams involved.
The Colorado Montreal game is only available on TVA.
