Hmmm....question to Vanney indicates DeRo official announcement of retirement happening on Saturday.
Warner out for sure. Findley might be available off the bench but rest of injuries not ready yet.

Excited that this is on sky sports 1. First time on the main channel. It is too bad that after two weeks sky stop airing their bizarre highlights shows. The cometary was in english but all of the text on screen was in spanish.
Yup. Unsold scalpers tix and a whole lot of people who buy season tix and go to only a handful of matches and waste the rest. I have a friend who only went to 3 matches last season and wasted the rest. This year she hasn't gone once so far and not going today. I think it's stupid to buy them and not go or to give them away but she'd rather just let them sit unused.
I think there are more people like her out there.
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
Can we do a Marvell Wynne chant today? Just because it's fun?

There are people who buy SS"s in hopes of a big pay off when/if there is a playoff run - call it amateur scalping. A lot of people did that with the Jays 2 seasons ago. The price of a conference final would probably make back 2 seasons of SSH investment. I don't want to think of how much people would pay for an MLS Cup final if we ever got to one.
I'm not saying its smart.
Hopefully these people actually show up to games.
I am always amazed ar just how many empty seats there do seem to be at TFC games. Even sold out games last year seemed to have thousands of empty seats - especially in the east stands for some reason. It's too bad. I wish more ticket holders would actually show up or at least give the tickets to somebody that would. Watching the Women's game on TV from Hamilton last night - or even watching Whitecaps home games compared to almost any TFC game and the difference is stark with so many empty seats at BMO. It's unfortunate really.
And we lucked out Wednesday where the forecast called for thunderstorms and all we got was a lovely rainbow instead. Here's hoping our luck continues tonight because the forecast is looking ominous for between 5 and 7.
My first game back since Nepal and its against the Earthquakes. What in the hell.
And kodiakTFC on the weekend the movie San Andreas opens. :-)
anddddddddd it's raining
anddddddddd it's pouring
Old man snoring?
Rain has stopped and the sun is trying to shine in. The midges were a little challenging this AM around BMO. Hopefully, they will stay at bay by wind or other.
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports
More Arsenal.
Less Villa.
Was raining buckets an hour ago, although looks like its clearing up now and the sun is trying to break through.
I doubt there will be any rain at kick off.
I'd prefer singing a former players chant than doing a "T.O. Reject".
Seems the fuckers score against us when we do that.
Unless he slagged us off when he left...then he deserves all the abuse we can hurl.
O, Maple Leaf around the world, You speak as you rise high above,
Of courage, peace and quiet strength, Of the Canada that I love.
Remind us all, our union bound by ties we cannot sever,
Bright flag revered on every ground, The Maple Leaf forever

First time season ticket holder and would love to know what happens to a game when a thunderstorm occurs? It is pouring in Burlington currently and the storm tracker shows heavy thunder shower cells hitting Toronto around 5:00 pm onwards.
Do they ever call a game over thunderstorms or do they wait them out and resume play later that evening?
Burned a set of tickets last week while on vacation and would hate to waste another set if calling off the game is a real possibility. Will be taking my 9 year daughter to the game who doesn't mind rain but is deathly afraid of thunderstorms.
If there is thunder typically there will be a delay at which point they will try to determine whether the storm will dissipate. If it does not look like the storm will clear up, the game is rescheduled and we get the same tickets to the rescheduled match. If the game is in the second half when it is called off because of thunder, then the result is final.

Wouldn't mind TFC leading by a goal or few and then end the game in second so that the result stands if the storm continues. I don't think it will be that bad though.... may be even more fun!!!
Thanks. Will make the trek and hopefully see our Reds win.
Slick field in our favour should it be.
Streams for this one?
