Yeah he faked the elbow to the face.
LOL what the fuck?

Hmm, I saw the sequence twice, the first time the commentator said it was a red for making contact with Perquis(not sure if it was elbow or shove to the chest), then he did a complete 180 after a second replay saying it was a simulation.

Figured that would happen. You can see him getting shoved in the chest clear as day in the second replay.
This discipline review done by Pro?
By disciplinary committee they mean the How to Screw TFC Committee
If a bear simulates in the forest, and no one sees it, is it simulation?
If this is the new standard, they'll be a lotta fines....
fucking punchline of a league
By that (Video) standard, referees should be just as accountable, and subject to discipline.

Perquis withstood the shove, then grabbed his face, and fell back like a sack of potatoes.
Certainly tried to deceive the official. Do I agree with the fine.

Perquis did a face palm on the ground because the referee missed the shove/foul.
The disciplinary committee is getting out of hand now in my opinion. It is one thing for dangerous offenses and reviewing red cards but simulation? Simulation in a game is a yellow card and doesn't come with a fine. If the ref misses any yellow card in a game they don't go back and fine players. Are they going to watch every game and fine every player that should have got a yellow card now but didn't? What a bunch of crap and not just because it happened to be a TFC player that got the fine that I have that opinion.
TFC should appeal this. At least as a show of support for Perquis. The fact that the push wasn't fined is complete horseshit.

Are they telling him simulation isn't allowed (if that's the case, fine 99% of the league, please.) or that he wasn't sneaky enough and far too obvious about it.
I think there are three different things going on here.
1) Orlando guy shoves Perquis. Should have been a yellow
2) Perquis acts like he has been shot. Should have been a yellow.
3) Refs and linesmen miss both.
I think they have this right. They are presumably dealing with 3) in camera. 2) is the one you want to deal with. Simulation is a disease.
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
No big deal. It was a pretty ridiculous move by Perquis. I remember cringing pretty hard at the replay on TV. We won the game. That's all I care about!
Ensco is right about this narrow issue, although to me it's embellishment, not simulation, as the guy did shove him.
The big picture is different. If you read the rules, the discipline committee reviews all tape of EVERY game and can retroactively fine for simulation/embellishment. It appears that Perquis is the only player to have been sanctioned this season for simulation/ embellishment. How can that possibly be? It's happened every game that TFC has played, multiple times, plus in every other MLS game I have seen, ever. So why sanction Perquis and no one else? it makes no sense.
Retroactive discipline is a very slippery slope. At the end of the day, this incident had no impact on the game. For me, move on.
The Orlando player's actions are a yellow, at least. Or a Baldomero Toledo red for him and two of his teammates.

Yeah that was simulation/embellishment for sure.
But MightyDM is right, of all that kind of shit we see all the time in the league, this is the one the pick out for supplementary discipline? Bizarre. I'm really starting to believe that the DisCo has an axe to grind with TFC.
