Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
That pic is from David Hopkinson.
Red seats covered in white plastic.
I also see they have demo'd some of the private suites on the west side - they are probably being moved to the east side
Yes, it seems both north end and south end of the west side have had suites taken out which opens up (for now?) the corners to the concourse.
Question - were the north end field level seats always two tone ? Could those darker north end seats be retractable? Remember - a big part of fitting a CFL field into that stadium is extending the field by 35 yards. Every yard they can find in the north end means a less expensive phase 3 reno (paid for by CFL/Argos?) to the south end...
I wonder what the plan is for the area where the suites were removed?
Bar area's on each side?

They gone because of the roof supports?
I feel like there is going to be alot of bottlenecking at the stairs going down from the concourse at the end of the game. It seems like they may not be large enough to handle so many people trying to leave once the match is done. Hopefully not. Hope that this was calculated properly but by that rendering it seems like the stairs are not going to be adequate. Hopefully, it was just mis-rendered in that drawing

Since I sit in the south end, like a lot of you, I am always interested in that south concourse. I keep wondering when they are going to do something about that partial staircase that looks like it leads to nowhere at the moment. I don't recall seeing that being left in the plans but maybe I missed it. Assuming only thing they could do is make it turn 90 degrees and then come down again as another exit.
I walked around BMO Sunday afternoon. It doesn't look like the stadium will be ready in time for the home opener.
I took these shots from the GO Bus around 11:30AM this morning. Based on my experience watching THF being built last year here in Hamilton - there is a heck of a lot to do - even visible things if they expect this to be ready in 40 days. Never mind all the stuff we can't see.
After my walk today, seeing all they have completed in 4 weeks.
I think they will be ready.
6 weeks left.
and all the major stuff is done.
Hmm....looks like it will take a bit of a hike to get to the west stands from a southern gate.
Anyone see if the southend work has been started?
Nothing is happening. That column is load bearing for the staircase and the concourse above.

So instead of attempting to build a new support column, and fully removing the stairs, they'll just build overtop of the existing one.

oh yah, in section 127, the box use to be where the DP player's familys would stay.
There was this one player that came to TFC with him mom and whole family, mooched TFC for all its worth, then quit on us by mid season. Don't recall the name though, some player whos constantly injured on a relegation team in the premier league
Again, going off of PCL's track record, I'm not worried about whether this will be finished in time or not. There may be odds and ends that need to be completed but the stadium will be good to go come the home opener. They've got another full month and 9 days. Lots of time.
Those metal beams are an eye sore, hope they cover them up.
