Was just looking down a list of former TFC players and I saw a few interesting things to note:
-Ryan Johnson is done in China and has just moved to the K league
-Terry Dunfield is actually still playing... in the SPL for Ross County
-O'Brian White still hasn't resumed play since his blood clot issues two years ago
-Rohan Ricketts is in Hong Kong playing for his 16th professional club
-Yourassowsky just got signed by a 3rd division Belgian club, his first professional contract since TFC
-Alen Stevanović has been loaned out to various Serie B teams and has done sweet FA since leaving
Bekker on the bench but did not play for FCDallas.
Unattached last time I checked.

If you read the comments to this article they are almost the same feelings posted here on the boards when Nelsen was fired last year.

MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
Berhalter may well know JDG from the Bundesliga - they overlapped there for 5-6 years, and there cannot have been very many North Americans in the league then.
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
A blast from the past returns. Still touting that blazing speed, no less...

ROBERT EARNSHAW ANNOUNCEMENT COMING?
Former Toronto FC and Chicago Fire striker Robert Earnshaw, 33, has been on trial with the Whitecaps since February.
On Wednesday, Robinson hinted there could be an announcement on Earnshaw’s future with the club as soon as Thursday.
“Something might happen, hopefully over the next 24 hours,” said Robinson.
Watched the Sunderland at West Ham match.
Pretty even match, Sunderland looked like they were going to get a point on the road then West Ham gets a late goal to win it.
Defoe didn't get much service but the one he got early in the match put him in alone almost right middle of the pitch.
It was the best Chad Barrett impression that I have seen since Chad played for us.
Former TFC CB Ty Harden has potted his first goal in MLS play in the Earthquake v Chicago match. This is his 100th MLS appearance.
