That was absolute madness. Giovinco put into a car and driven off.

Even Defoe didn't get this type of reception when he first arrived.

That's exactly why he was a sour puss his whole time here. The party wasn't big enough for his ego.

The press conference when he and Bradley were unveiled was impressive with many of us upstairs looking on. The reception for them in the afternoon was good, too.

If the team had let us know when he was coming in, I suspect there would have been a few people who would have dropped by.

How many Juve/Azzuri supporters were there in amongst the TFC support? I suspect that any Azzuri player is going to get the attention of the Italian community, even though he hasn't played a lot.

I am from Northern Italy, and it is nothing like here. I was in shock when I first got here. I used to go skying in the Alps, and it would get to -5. I never experienced anything like -18 or -20 until I got here. I was unbelievable to me.

I had a sour taste in my mouth from the Defoe ordeal, although that was very classy of him to show up. Time to forget the past and move on.

He didn't show up. That was a photo from when he arrived here the first time. A joke.

Also: there weren't 22,000 at the airport today. Also a joke, a pun about the traditional "announced" attendance at BMO.

Sheesh. Nobody has their dry humor radar on today.

A similar player in skill IMO Adam Lallana makes 4.2 million euros for Liverpool… so maybe 5.5 million USD. He cost a huge transfer fee, 25 million POUNDS. your looking at about almost twice what we are paying Giovinco. Even England would have to overpay for Giovinco btw. I’ll take Giovinco and his cost over Lallanna…

    No, Liverpool can keep Lallana.

It's weird how many big transfers in the last couple of years have gone sideways to bad.

trane, how much of Giovinco have you seen? What's your guess on how he does here?
