Sunderland, Swansea, Aston Villa and Celtic are among clubs monitoring American college prospect Jay Chapman.
The 20-year-old Canadian, who has a British father, has been starring for Michigan State who have made it through to the NCAA College play-off quarter-finals.
Chapman, an attacking midfielder, is a product of Toronto FC’s academy.

Darren O'Dea signed with Blackpool.
I hope O'Dea does not sign with TFC again, you know the saying "been there done that" he was here and was not anything special actually was not very good considering the money he was getting, this team needs better defenders and center backs even Caldwell in my opinion is not very good. TFC has been one of the worst defensive team for a long time now year in year out and guys like Caldwell and O'Dea have been part of the defensive corps in a few of those years.
Jeremy Brockie has now signed for SuperSport United in the South African Premier League, and will join them in January. I'm currently in New Zealand, and there have been a couple of articles in the N.Z. and Aussie papers about his deal.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I just thought I'd bring up this article I found about the top 10 players in MLS for each position.
http://insoccer.ca/2014/12/24/2014-m...onal-rankings/
Now look at how many of those players were former TFC players as little as 5 years ago:
Silva, Plata, Urruti, Tchani, Laba, Cronin, Gargan, Frei.
Only 3 TFC players are on the list: Defoe (with New York!?), Bradley, and Morrow. All were brought in under the current administration.
Why oh why did we have such incompetent Management for so long?
Man, with the serious gaping hole that has been our midfield (and a creative person up top), why did previous managment move Tchani, Cronin & Silva? The others i guess have good serviceable replacements, and Laba well, we all don't need to rehash that argument, but seriously, i do not see why any of those 3 had to go
