Not sure if this has been posted before.
I just got sent this video, looks like a pretty cool movie about the Samoa national soccer team. Thomas Rongen is the coach and features in the movie

I love this thread!!
Vice News did an interview with American Samoa's Jaiyah Saelua, the first transgender person to play in a FIFA World Cup qualifier. Rongen gets a mention.

Was talking with former Red AJ Gray, he is over in Oalu, Finland. Great to see him get a deal after all his hard work over the years.
Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!

Earnshaw interview
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Nice to see Milos Kocic back in the game, and garnering good reviews!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
So he unretired? Good for him.
Wow, he walks in to the Europa league and wins MoM? Great work Milos!
That's spectacular and I hope he finds a good gig in Europe. One of the classiest players TFC has ever had.
There was a preseason friendly doubleheader in Wellington today, West Ham vs Sydney and Newcastle vs Wellington. Went to the matches wearing my TFC jacket. On the way to the stadium a group passed by in Newcastle jumpers, and suddenly this older gentleman points at the crest on my jacket, then sprints over- it was John Carver. Was very happy to run into a TFC supporter. Seemed to still be keeping up on the club, was very happy to talk about old times (briefly discussed the Columbus match, didn't get into any heavy stuff). Great guy. Still can't believe how he turned around and ran back just to say hi.
In related news- before the Wellington match I told my sister about Brockies.... troubles with finishing. Lets just say he lived up to his reputation. He didn't exactly seem to be a popular guy in the stands.
Keven Aleman joins CS Herediano(Costa Rica) from Real Valladolid B. Memories rusty but I think we traded his MLS rights to the Whitecaps.
Earnshaw signs for Chicago Fire
Did we not get anything for his "rights"?
Damnit.
Hope the TFC curse is over and he scores zero goals against us.
He's still got plenty in the tank I think... could do well in Chicago.
Former TFC player from the first season AJ Gray played his first game for his new club, OPS last weekend having recently signed with the Finnish side.

Jan Hagen @PortuBall 1m Brazil goalie Júlio César is in Lisbon to finalize a deal with Benfica.
Plata now on 11 goals. The leading scorer on the league's top team.
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff

Cesar to Benfica sounds like it's happening.
Plata like other skilled players were chased away by one and only Paul Mariner and Earl Cochrane. We're still feeling the effects of Mariner and Cochrane's stupid decisions this day.
Plata is type of winger we desperately need on this current team.

It looks like Plata is being called up to the Ecuador national team for a friendly.
I swear, Anselmi, Cochrane, and Mariner should give back their salaries for the damage they did to this club.
