Nick Soolsma lighting up the Vancouver Metro Soccer League for CCBRT United:

would've assumed it was a local Dutch kid with that name, but it looks like he's now living in the lower Mainland: http://vancouver.kijiji.ca/c-service...AdIdZ559389220
^Interesting. Wikipedia has him playing for South Melbourne FC in the Victorian Premier League. According to the club website, he's still on their roster. Maybe he's getting some off-season training in?
Pretty random. Guessing he met a girl out in Australia from up here? Was he married before?
I wonder if he teaches kids how to cut rails of coke?
WE DID IT!
I used to post that he was so slow that he belongs in a pub league. That was only 18 months ago.
Pro sports is a brutal business. I will never forget his performance in Torreon, and I wish him well.
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
We also were big Soolsma fans! We were very upset to see him let go! Sooslma was very good for TFC!
Adrian Cann signs with San Antonio of NASL.

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

^Good for him. Was always hoping he'd catch on somewhere eventually.
Great to see Adrian back in the game. I proudly display his jersey from his final game in Toronto. A good guy all around.
Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
it's got to be something with his personal life that's affecting his football. lots of skill, not enough focus. strangely, TFC was the only club he had everything put together. getting cut by Mariner must have really pissed him off. he's going into Rohan Ricketts trajectory, except less of a resume. And why Vancouver?

We won't see him back and it's not for footballing reasons. Houston was not a one off situation with him.

Mo Edu signs with Philly Union for $600k, according to... Bill Archer at Big Soccer.
Just in case this wasn't mentioned somewhere else.

Milo Kocic announced the end of his playing career today. Opening a GK academy in Toronto.
I really thought he would grab the #1 spot at Portland but Ricketts' revival of form stopped that from happening.
*credit to Armen B for getting details on that

Too bad. I thought Milos was relatively underrated and was one of the few guys who wasn't afraid to speak up when things were handled poorly. Shame he's just going to miss out on the next CBA, but at 28 and with a family to take care of it was probably time for him to get things settled career wise.
Nice to see he made his way back to Toronto and hope he does well with the GK camp.
Looks like Danny K has found a home back in Holland.

Former TFC keeper Milos Kocic opens Toronto academy“My wife (Evelyn) is happy here. Her family is here. I feel happy in Toronto and I want my kids (16-month-old triplets) to be here,” Kocic said.
The Serbian-born Kocic hopes to get his Canadian citizenship down the line: “It’s a great country. It’s a great city. That’s why I want to stay here.”
