Toronto FC will introduce new Designated Player signing Gilberto at a 3pm press conference at ACC today
This is where things get tricky. Seems to me Timmy L will have to at least reference another big deal in the wings, otherwise many will think that it isn't happening. And it is certainly possible that it isn't happening. Let's see if he turns up or down the heat on Deal #2.
Ps I hate that Portland's solid starting CB pair makes less than 150,000k combined....
You talking about the trade they just made with SKC? Zizzo for All O'Cation.
yeah it was announced before I could make my prediction.. that was wrong.. I thought it was allocation spot, not just allocation $$
Loving this great music there playing on the stream. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeee
lol.. they finally have a mic on as of 5 second ago
Thats why they brought him to the Raptors game... to show how bad toronto drops the ball not only on the court but with this fucking stream to
Poor Welshman lost his number.. haha
I am going to hold my judgement until 5 games into the season re Gilberto, hes just another player till then

The Man's got a rocket for a right foot!
Wileman saying fee paid was $2.6mil
So, what's next?
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

The fact the deal went through so quickly would suggest there wasn't too much serious interest in him from other clubs. I think the fact he has had a bit of mixed career to date might be slightly off putting to some clubs. He certianly did well last season whilst on loan, joint 6th in scoring chart for a below mid table team is certainly impressive. I haven't seen him play but hopefully we get some consistency from him and this could well turn out to be a bargain
2 good articles on tsn. This one from Kristian Jack
