so according to the supporter group exemptions, would i be able to bring a flag 5 feet by 6 feet on a pvc pole?

Getting the tall pvc pole in is the real concern as the flag is easy to bring in

so I'm a TFC supporter but didnt get supporters section tickets, I'm in section 147 right beside U-Sector and I heard that TFC supporters need to go in gate A. Should me and my buddy (who will be covered in red) try to enter through group A?

I just asked the lads who are at the Big-O today - I'll post back when I hear back from them...

And the word back... Turf is in and "...is a massive improvement from the surface at the dome. Saturday is the first use (other than training) for it..."

That's great to hear. Hate playing on rough turf. I cringe anytime I see a guy start running full tilt. Just waiting for a knee or hammy to go.

Everyone worried about Beer, shouldn't be. I remember buying like 10 cups when we first walked in at the little table thing.

The Smokin Section was rather "Chill" too if you catch my drift! They treated us well last year at the Big-O I was rather shocked.

Unfortunately due to work and family commitments (see I have to look after my 1 year old son) I am not able to attend the trip.

My heart is with all of those who are already travelling and will be travelling to montreal. please be extra loud on my behalf until I make it to MTL next year...

While in Montreal you can put money on TFC.
Their ProLine equivalent is called Mise O Jeu.

All we can hear from our hotel room in Montreal is helicopters and police sirens.

Is it police brutality protests or have the TFC fans arrived?

LOL It's the police brutality protest - it's all over the news.
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports

The only real other option you have, which will add about an hour to your drive is to take highway 37 at Bellville , which head north up to tweed and then take high 7 east and get on the 417 just east of ottawa and take that to the 40 at the quebec border which you can take all the way into Montreal.
