Fuad Ibrahim called up to Ethiopian for African Nations Cup squad
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Glad to see he landed somewhere.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I saw Preki at NSCAA, after the draft was done. He was talking to someone and did a double take when he saw the TFC shirt (worn by me) walking by him.

I've heard from some friends at work that Nicholas Lindsay has started working @ RBC in my office.
I haven't seen him there yet (but there is over 6500 people in the office).
Wow, what a story. Very interesting comments under the article as well.
Lindsay had such natural talent. Is there really no way he can continue; did he never come back the same after his injury? He got so little playing time last year, after taking so long to recuperate, that it seems hard to decide. And it worries me that Paul Mariner and Earl Cochrane were apparently the ones that decided that Nicholas didn't have a chance, and released him.
Not sure if already mentioned: Nick Soolsma with S.B.V. Excelsior in The Netherlands.

I miss that guy.
OK he never played here, but given how often his name surfaced in these parts....

Peri Marosevic is on trial at RSL. Thought he had a lot more to show during his time here. Can Kreis get it out of him?
