plain and simple .. it was a well taken shot.. not the expert for set pieces.. a depleted team . The lone goal for the winner..

Good job he definitely deserved it I'm glad we could save it from being a lame header that was hardly spectacular.

When it comes around to being the Goal of the Year is the voting scheme the same, that is just screaming to be scripted? Or do they at least program in a confirmation code similar to ticketmaster when searching tickets?

People keep talking about how it's just a stupid online marketing poll.

Well...for Barrett is could be a boost...which is good for our him which is good for our team. Besides, you never know...maybe players get a bonus for getting GOTW...that's a big deal for them in a league that pays a pittance.

We needed some good news, this may be small and unimportant, but it's a small victory in a sea of bad news.

I am happy for Chad, I am happy DC fans got the message.
