Chicago has Inter and former Italian youth keeper Paolo Tornaghi, 23, on trial
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”
-Eduardo Galeano
Eff eff. I thought he would be a great addition to TFC. Lambe may or may not have a future in this league but having him a Makabuya an injury or two away from starting does not bode well.
LA Galaxy adds Bill Gaudette

This is the same guy who pretty much stopped us vs. PR Islanders
him and our crap team (at the time)
Very useful link from MLS used by the press: http://pressbox.mlssoccer.com/ .. nice site to get all info in one place.
Anyone have the gif of him rolling around on the ground and getting hit in the face with that beer? That pretty much made my life.
According to his official site, former Hertha BSC and VFL Wolfsburg defender Arne Friedrich will be joining the Chicago Fire.

- Hearing Toronto FC have released Ecuadorian central defender Geovanny Caicedo
- Caicedo was poor in the game I saw in Orlando, comments in media can't have helped either. Leaves TFC without having played an #MLS match
Whoa, that's ... unexpected. Here I was thinking this is our starting CB who just needed to recover from his "injury". Guess Winter must have been really unimpressed throughout preseason, and opted to free up cap space now instead.
That leaves us with Harden as de facto starting RCB (ugh). Maybe they like what they see in Maund, because Williams isn't close to returning. And you'd think they'd play Henry more if they thought he was ready. At least it clears some of the logjam at CB, but doesn't exactly bode well for the season.
Harden - Aceval
Maund - Cann
Williams
Henry
Guess he turned out to be not what they thought, if he was not a fit as it appears AW and company have determined, good to get him out now and open up an international roster spot.

Wow, that's pretty shocking. And here I was thinking we'd be drama free. Logan Emory is still on trial too, a CB.
https://twitter.com/#!/loganemory his last tweet seems to indicate he might sign, not quite sure. Not that we're short on defenders presuming Cann comes back soon.

well......at least they did what was right and released him before he made a meal of things for us. The search continues!

Maybe Cann is closer to returning then we thought.
1st - Cann / Aceval
2nd - Harden / Maund
3rd - Williams / Henry
Problem there is we still only have one CB who's truly comfortable wih the ball.
I've heard Caicedo wasn't impressed with how physical MLS play was. Maybe he was the one who left?
^Yeah his comment and surprise was more than unexpected and downright disappointing. I was willing to give him a chance if he showed for us but it was a definite point against.

Well I am not sure how Cann / Aceval will work unless one is comfortable playing on the right side since both of them are left footed....I have a feeling Harden will be there a lot longer than we think unless Maund comes flying out of the gate in training....Hopefully Cann is close as he is a better pure defender than Harden and at least a tad more comfotable on the ball then him.

Luke Wileman confirmed he wasn't good enough in preseason (via twitter)
