Default Watch L.A. Gals get demolished by Oita Trinita tonight

The first game of the PanPacific Championship is on Fox Sportsworld Canada right now. Suwon v.s. Shandong. I assume the second match of the evening (LA v.s. Oita) will be shown next.

    Should be a massacre.

doubt it.. Gamba in 05 was better than Oita in 08 and we only beat LA by 1 goal to nil back then. But lets see how this plays out.

You must have forgotten Gamba destorying Houston last year 6-1. Do you think a LA team without Becks and Donovan will do so well against Oita?

I don't know.........I think LA will lose by at least 3.

yeah i forgot that... Despite going to the match. Opps yeah it was 08 but still the gamba team that played was VERY diff than the one that won the ACL in the same 08.

LA will play more like a team...instead of running the game through becks and landy they'll lose for true but...

Also even though Oita finished 4th last year in Jleague they were not all that impressive. They'll win the game though iam sure but it wont be the Gamba rape of Houston.

    I am

Shandong's football is ultra boring, and Suwon's attack is poor, but at least theyre trying.

    oh goal for Suwon, finally!

Terrible goalkeeping and offside trap fail from Shandong. Seriously bad.

But at least they've realised they need to score a goal now.

Not the most entertaining football, but it will do on a Wednesday night. The LAG match should be a snoozefest.

I hate to say, but LA is better this year on paper - Dunny, Gonzalez, Magee, Kovalenko, etc.

I agree they are, but this match is meaningless to both teams and they are both just getting ready for their seasons. I'm not expecting much, but I hope I'm wrong.

eh. suwon is typical korean team. good movement and works hard, but just lacks that finishing punch and terrible defence

some good individual skills in that game though

Re: LA -they are ok, none of those guys are really high quality, they are definitely better this year on paper (which really isnt saying much, tho i do expect them to place higher than last year), we look alot better too tho (i also expect us to place higher and beat LA in the process). Dont forget the chances of Beckham returning are low, although i do expect Donovan to return, he wont have half the chances he had with Beckham gone (im still thinking he will score 15+ goals)

    Watch Buddle.

Still can't believe how much shit got hurled at him by our fans, even after he created our very first goal. (Dichio's goal was ALL about that assist, but nobody ever mentions this)

He's already running rings around Oita.

As a Gamba supporter it makes me smile that Oita is playing so terribly 2009 Jleague is looking up. Supposing we dont focus on ACL again as defending champions.

Well if dropping two atomic bombs on them, isn't revenge enough, I'm never fucking with them.
