It's not random. They'll get a better team than we did in any other city in MLS.
MLS had the game sold out in Toronto, they didn't need to pay up to get a marquee opponent. It's the same reason the Galaxy get scheduled here on international dates - as is not the case elsewhere, the Galaxy game sells out here, with or without Beckham.
It is almost vertainly not malicious/deliberate, but it feels like we are being punished for our support of the team/league.
