He put in a good stint for Reading but it doesn't look like they'll be back to the Premiereship soon. Good timing on him.

Yeah I agree this is a good pick up for them. He had a good run with Reading and gained some valuable experience. Also he is only 25 and in his prime. So Beasley to LA next?

I think it's good that he's come back to MLS rather than signing for another Championship side or a League One side.

guess they found their replacement for O'Brien.
too bad that leaves them right where they started.

^^especially because Convey is also injury prone.

Reading will be straight back up again, and they don't need Convey and haven't done since they won promotion originally, that's why he's gone. Hunt is a much better player, he just signed a new long term deal and Convey cannot get him out the side.

But yeah, good pick up for the Quakes, especially in light of ROB leaving. the more US internationals the other MLS sides have the better, because it means someone other than us will suffer on FIFA match days, and then the league might sort this problem out properly once and for all.

...except that they'll have to use someone quite left-footed on the right side...Convey's whole "I only have one eye" thing keeps him leftward...

Doesn't look like we'll be back? We're in second place right now. We have an automatic promotion position at the moment.
