If you can get 2,700 people to Columbus, it should be a breeze to get 1,000 for this. The club needs to let the supporters clubs know in advance what the plan is, and invite them appropriately. As has been said, this could be a PR boon for the club and also make a marquee signing feel like he's a part of something special, to know how important this is to his fans.
I would suggest Paul and his staff expeditiously liaise with supporters and create a pretty wild e-Blast to the non-nerd fans and invite them down. 16,000+ invite with an exclusive incentive to experience a special would be an excellent opportunity. I imagine they are smack in the middle of planning season, but flexibility in a marketing department is a good thing. Plus, 80% of the marketing/PR is done by the supporters anyway.
So. Learn from all of the past mistakes from MLSE new signings and don't make this exclusive for the press as they only took hold of TFC when the fans bullied them over a good period of time and the team was breaking records for futility. This could be a paradigm shift for TFC and it's fans who have been begging for this. Time for a brainstorm, but don't keep it in house TFC, your way to close to the action and don't have a broad view. Just some initial thoughts.

A good crew could pull it off! Two days of prep for an experienced team with skills... Possible for sure. It's a matter of how important it is to them to make a spectacle of the situation. For those who feel they need to take a day off, it has been suggested it's at 4:00PM. Generally it shouldn't take a whole day to make it to the ACC by 4:00PM... And it's cheaper than a road-trip.
I would love to see YouTube clips of a thousand TFC supporters singing DeRosario with all they have. You have been begging, now get singing!!
