    Default TFC Reserve Game

We took it 2-1. Good game. And more TFC is always better!

Cunny had one. I missed the other. I was distracted because I ended up sitting with Killian Elkinson's Ma. We were chatting at the time. Incidentally this kid is really good.

yup. He has got it. really nice to watch. and extremely versatile. played back but was involved in 80% of the attacks close to the box. Thought he looked like a wee Jimmy B!

Report at TFC home site says Lombardo scored the first, Gabe Gala scored the winner after DCU-R tied the game. TFC-R are now 3-1-0

But we were up 2-0 before DC scored. Julius James was fantastic, really a great player. Gala was also great, as was Attakora who is big and strong and skilled.

    Starting 11 =

    Attakora-Gyan -- James -- Tebily -- Dunivant (Elkinson 45)

    Rosenlund - Harmse - Phelan - Gala

    Lombardo - Cunningham (Melo 65thish)

Good game, on the of the DC players said fuck you to us so we were pretty happy with ourselves. Elkinson is very good, but obviously just a boy.

Had a great time, good to see a crew of the RPB out, we were quite vocal and were heard for sure, James was great, Lombardo's goal was good to see, also Elkinson was quite impressive for being such a young age, he had great hustle, went after the ball and never gave up, good to see, I will have photo galary of the game up for everyone to enjoy later.

It looked to me like the DC goal went in off of Tebily. We were at a good angle to see that the ball would have gone wide past the left post but it hit a defender's ankle and deflected in. That put some life into DC and they started to come on in the later part of the second half.

Julius James was the Man of the Match in my opinion. He was very solid on the back line. The new kid Elkinson looked very promising. He was up against a big DC winger (they didn't have names on their shirts) and he continually shut him down and won balls from him. He's not small but put a couple more inches and a few more pounds on him and he'll be another James or Tebily.

I finally got to see one of the rarest events in Toronto sports - a goal by Andrea Lombardo! It was a very nice goal too. Cunningham went forward on the left side and made a perfect cross to Lombardo who was wide open in front of the goal.

Here are some of my observations of the game.

What stood out for me was the great balls off of corners from Tyler Roseland. They were all dangerous balls in and caused problems for DCU.

Also liked how Harmse was playing, especially those challenges.

Gabe had a strong game, as did Nana. These guys looked really good out there.

I'm suprised that no one mentioned Cunny was subbed off because of injury. Not to sure how serious it is, looked like he might have pulled a
    muscle somewhere.

Like the rest of you that kid Killian Elkinson impressed, He showed that he has a great touch on the ball. He showed composure and calmness.
He also made a couple of strong challenges. He moved up well into the attack from left back and switched well with Gabe to cover on the defensive side.

I think Cunningham might have a sprained vagina. He had a couple of bright moments in the game but he looked disinterested and seemed unwilling to make any real effort. It's time for a trade IMO.

Cunny really did not look like he was into the game from my standpoint, I do agree JJ#3 was the man on the pitch today, I am sure some first team in minutes for him are in the cards sooner rather than later.

If interetd my photos from the game have been posted in the multimedia section of the board.

^^ You can't "get" a club card unless you are a STH. If you find a season ticket holder to go with who has two season tickets and is willing to let you use their extra you could get in that way. All i can think of.
