Pretty sure season '09 will start a few weeks earlier than last year to accomodate a couple of dark weekends on WCQ dates.

basically 3 1/2 full months
when this years season started, i was amazed at how fast the winter went by. hopefully it'll happen again this time around. and alcohol helps the days FLY by, too.
