I'm not voting now.
I'll let you know when I see how our DP performs in the Carolina Cup.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
Too early, dude. Hypotheticals are fun (I engage in them frequently) but we haven't even seen the protected list yet.
predict that we we get 6 more points then this year
Canapu!
We do not even know how the manager is going to be, or what the roster will look like.
if youre going to discuss the carver rumour please try to keep it to one thread

YAY! TFC FINISH!
NOTICE: Wager with STB: OVER 2 shots on goal in the First half wins a Pint at HT.
...unsure still!
Is this with Carver..or without??
Dont forget that TFC is the worlds most desired team to play for in which we have to reject the likes of hargreaves due to top talent overflow (MLS salary cap has been raised from 2.3 mill to a more logical 2.31 mill). Single table format is still being discussed within the MLS heigh-archy while the current format of 3 divisions encompassing 26 teams (with all but 5 struggling with attendance) play "for fun" as everyone wins somesort of trophey through-out the season voiding any and all real credibility to the league. And Beckham still plays for LA at a lowly cost of 80 mill over 5 years.
You're right, this is a joint endeavour Flat Picker Man.
It shall be the MLS Hitcho-Flatpicker Elite League and the MLS Hitcho-Flatpicker Power League.
BTW - I assume you saw the Garber comments about next season being 14 home and away fixtures (28 games) with 2 "local rival" matches to make the games up to 30, and the last four play off places effectively coming from a unified league table. This is a positive shift, no?

^ I suppose it's a baby-step in the right direction...
Hah! Rome wasn't built in a day my friend. In 2010 we should see a straight up home and away league and, although the play-offs will remain, they will be based partly on a unified league table between the conferences. You can't switch to a vertical league system with only 15 teams, you'd need at least 20 to do that, but the pre-emptive steps have to be in place first, and it looks like they could be now. So it's not inconceivable that within 5 years or so the Elite and Power leagues will be in existence (although still unlikely at this stage of course, we'd have to replace garber first i think - fancy a new job Flat Picker Man? )
