Someone should consider this....

Sorry if its been said but:

If you can't make it to The Kit Party, your jersey will be available for pick up at CentreSports from Monday, December 8th.

Does that not suggest I can go to center sports on Dec. 8th and purchase the jersey directly from them??????

Bit of a logic flaw there TFC FO

That was quite embarrassing as Pee Wee clubs have embroidered patches/crests.
FYI, all MLS jerseys will have the same 'cliche' bits. As seen below with the US flag, the 'burst' and stupid grey bits.

No sir, it will be available for pick up if you have already purchased it.

I can't remember where I saw it, but apparently some of the new US teams jerseys are going to have a US flag on them.

EDIT: ^^^ Jay - you beat me to it

Ummm, reality check. I'll bet anyone on here a cold 20$ that I walk into Centre Sports on Dec. 8th and sweet talk the sales staff into selling me one then and there.

    Take the bet, please!

not if they don't have any jerseys there except the ones that have been pre-ordered.

I think he means the Maple Leaf part embedded in the shirt - not the patch on the sleeve

It's on the shoulder as is shown above... The problem I have is the "embossed" or "faded" one on the abdominal portion of the jersey. It's poorly designed and busy. The year one kit was great. Simple. Effective. Clear Numbering. Now TFC et al are beginning to think, and thus we now have a problem...

Take another look at the Houston jersey, it has an embedded image as well. It's just not quite as tacky as ours.

So....why are we paying more than other MLS teams? Seriously, does anyone know or are we really going to settle for "MLSE are money sucking devils" view point?

I wish Paul could tell us why we pay more? be honest. Tell us why we have to pay more for the same product, shirt wise and a less quality product on the field.

I'll have to starch it so that it's fully-popped all the time.

Wait, that sounds bad. Ehh, whatever.

why does rent cost more in Toronto? Why does a pitcher of beer downtown cost more than in Hamilton? Why is the average house price in Toronto $500,000? Why does it cost more to get TFC merch instead of Kansas City merch?

    Not really comparable situations tbh.

I can understand everyone's position on this, but I am thinking of a different angle.

We know the Jerseys will be red. And probably some grey.

We know the sizes will probably be about the same as last years. (So fit isn't an issue)

We know it will have a BMO Logo and a TFC crest (hopefully not felt again).

We know it will probably be inline with "Adidas" already existing jersey formats. (Meaning probably little chance of KC Wizards ugliness.)

What exactly are we afraid of? We know that new jerseys every couple of years is a cash grab...because that is business! For those of us that buy jerseys of other teams like Barcelona or Manchester United...do we not eventually buy the "new" jersey once we have decided to get it? How is that not a cash grab and this is? They both are. All teams supplement their coffers with redesigned kits and the fans buy them in droves, why would TFC avoid this money-making venture and why would we have a problem with it? So the real question is, have you decided you are getting the new jersey or not? Is design going to influence you? Cost? Neither of these should really be an issue here as all of us knew already what the price was going to be, and most of us here are smart enough to know what the kits will probably look like, maybe a change to a swoosh here, or a line there, but I doubt we are going to get Chelsea Flourescent.

I am a jersey collector, I love all my kits and since this is my team, I can't fathom the thought of not having a complete collection. Isn't $119.99 the same price as the authentics from last year? I wasn't expecting any less this year. So what exactly would I complain about since I know pretty much the look of the jersey and the price is inline with last year?

Besides how much can this be screwed up?
