    Default Columbus in Final.

The Columbus Crew make it to the MLS Cup final with a 2-1 come from behind win, scoring 2 second half goals after falling behind 1-0 in the first half. They actualy had a very good and vocal crowd at Crew Stadium their supporters section sounded pretty good the entire game. This is the Crew's first time to the MLS Cup final since the start of MLS in 1996. It's good to see a regular season champ make it to the final, it validates the regular season a little more.

Screw the KKKrew: the racist fans there don't deserve the cup.

That's not at all what I said. The players have played well, beyond any expectations. But the fans don't deserve it, they're down right lousy from all angles.

    Now THAT is a generalization.

I'm pretty sure I've heard some racist comments come from the south end, but that doesn't make us all racists.

It pains me to say this, but congrats to the Crew. They deserve it, as I believe the have been the best team this season.

However, if you saw the game tonight they showed the supporters section many times during the game, and I must say that their supporters section has improved in terms of how vocal they are, and in numbers from what I can remember when I was there at the start of the season for the TFC game at Crew Stadium back in March.

Attendance is reported at 14,688. Embarrassing, but I guess good for them

i know, 1 game away from the MLS cup and they still cant even come close to the 22,555 capacity. but hey, at least its better than their season low of 6,733 . its amazing that these guys actualy claim to have the best supporters in the league, what a joke.... just move the team to another city that will actualy come out and support it already.

Well Houston will be happy. Because Columbus has already qualified for the 2009/2010 Champions League by winning the regular season, the second place regular season team (Houston) now get's a Champions League spot. With the other going to whoever wins in Salt Lake vs. New York.

what's the logic on going home-and-home series in round I and just one game in round II?

(not that this league and logic are connected or anything.)

Well the Columbus BlueJackets had only 11300 in the stands at their last home game the other night, so it looks like soccer is not the only sport in Columbus that has trouble drawing big crowds.

This brings about the ancient riddle:

If a team wins and nobody's there to watch, did it really happen?

Fuck Columbus. Secede from the Union. Nobody in the U.S. likes you either.

    Good point.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

Are you a KKKrew fan or what?! Stop blowing smoke up their arses dude - the Cowlumbust fans are shite, they get shite attendances and tonight was another fucking embarrasment. Can you seriously imagine 14,000 turnign up at BMO Field in the same situation, with thousands of those give-aways to boost numbers and no-shows? NO!!!! There's no excuse for it, none.

Go and suck face with the Columbus fan boards (if they have any). Sheesh.

I have the WH in my favs,
    http://www.whitehouse.gov/
I have asked numerous questions over the years (and I suggest you all follow suit).
One of my best emails was to offer up Montreal, in a trade, for Rochester NY.
I explained that it would benefit the US in that they would acquire a truly 'global' french asset.
In turn, we would acquire an American 'sister' city that just happens to be football crazy.

They never got back to me.
What if we offered to take Columbus?

    NOT ON MY SHIFT.

So in other words DC and Houston will need to qualify for the group stages while Columbus and either RSL or the Red Craps will go straight into the groups?

What is with this "They deserve this" and "we should recognize that" BULLSHIT!

    FUCK COLUMBUS! ALWAYS AND FOREVER.

All you guys with your Montreal deserves this and this team is good because...

What the fuck is the matter with you?

This objective attitude has no place in true love.

Stop being reasonable....it has no place in this.

`Well I really could appreciate the _______`s effort tonight'

    Jesus, Fucking grow a pair!
(and in case anyone`s wondering, I`m not being sarcastic)

Learn to be one sided and mean like all good fans....FUCK!
