Great. An Italian Borat. That won't get old.
the canadian championship is not a priority but the MLS playoffs should be the aim for the next season..before everyone jumps on the canadian championship bit, remember its a 3 team event, not exactly a big tournament. A .500 season which still show improvement wold be close to getting us in the playoffs./
I'd love to see the threads again from before each of these deals. Tebily and Robert were considered masterstrokes of genius if I remember correctly. Shit doesn't work out, whoop-de-doo, everyone is the greatest coach or manager in the world with the benefit of hindsight.
To be fair - the issue with Tebily wasn't that he was crap, it was that he didn't like it/want to be here. Having watched him at Celtic, it was only a matter of time before he blew a gasket that cost us huge, but either way - good player or not, I think Mo gets -1 for the signing. It's not just about ability, it's about their state of mind and if they want to play in TO
Um my user name has changed can you please change me back ..WTF
Yes.
Go back, look at some old footage, and see how many of his passes would have been goals if they were aimed at Barrett instead of Cunningham.
I think the absolute biggest indictment of poor judgement here is the acquisition of Ruiz. I'd want Robert, Samuel, Cunningham, or even Welsh back instead of that fuck.
or even (dare I say it) Dichio.
in one game, Robert set up Dichio for a simple tip into the next, but the Danny ended up on the wrong side of the keeper. The GK saved it with a jump, and then it was back to business. A few minutes later, Robert put the EXACT same ball in front of the net, and Dichio ended up on the wrong side of the keeper again. you could see how frustrated Robert was.
I'm not making excuses for Robert's bad attitude, but he did play at a skill level that was way beyond most of our team (when he actually used it)

I've got faith. There is an article on the TFC site that talks about Carver and Mo scouting in North Carolina (note crazy NCAA soccer rules).
We've got tons of allocation cash, approval for a DP(s), good pick positions in the draft and a good core of players returning.
Significant moves and improvments are needed for next season - but it looks like all the pieces for that to happen are in place. As long as Mo puts the pieces together, we've got some real steam brewing for next year.
Is it March/April yet?
I still stand pat with my thoughts on Moe.
But as of today I will no longer post anti-Moe stuff.
I would prefer to get through this winter with hope of all hopes for next season, as the rest of you do I'm sure.
Maybe I'm having an 'Obama' moment.
I don't know.
I would sincerely like to believe that Moe is not the engineer of our fate as a successful club.
But, the evidence so far hasn't been to promising.
Nuf said.
KD.
you know we could always post anti- parkdale stuff
