    Default RSL/NYRB playoff semi.

Real Salt Lake is down 1-0 to the Red Bulls playing at home in their new stadium after the first half. Looks like a full house tonight in Salt Lake, I hope Salt Lake is able to come back and reward their fans in the second half. Canadian Will Johnson is starting in the midfield for Salt lake.

Wow, what a match! RSL hit the post something like 3-4 times in the last 20 minutes. They eventually lost 1-0.

sounds like it was a wild night...

82nd minute- The smoke bomb situation at the stadium is ridiculous. How the referee has allowed this to go on us unreal.
    Pietravallo coming in for Sassano.
    ------------------------------
81st minute- WOW, what a sequence. RSL had a clear chance and Will Johnson hits it off the left post. UNBELIEVABLE

Even with New York winning it could possibly be the lowest rated and most boring MLS Cup Final ever.

    And it's LIVE on CBC!

I'll root for the Red Bulls before I ever root for the Archers.

New York in the final their first half goal held up and won the game 1-0. Very very lucky to pull this one off, RSL was all over them, I think New York crossed center maybe twice the entire second half, Salt Lake hit about four or five goal post and had numerous chances to score. Attendance in Salt Lake just over 20,000 which I think is a sellout at Salt Lake's new stadium.

Can't believe Johnson hit the post from 4 inches away. Geez.

This is a nightmare for the league. Two eastern clubs with shite support playing in LA in front of nobody.... this'll be great.

I was rooting for RSL just for the fact that they had the only remaining Canadian left in the playoffs with Will Johnson and because of the great crowd that came out tonight to their game. They should have won but missed chance after chance.

see how close teams are in this league? NY finish only a win and a tie ahead of us (and five goals against WORSE than us) and they are playing for the cup.
