    This, right here, is why I consider the Canadian Soccer Association's new strategic plan an insult to everyone who loves the beautiful game in this wide, diverse and ever-changing land:
    It's obvious to most that the next necessary step is the hiring of a solid, business-savvy CEO. Someone who can grab the wheel, and steer our embattled soccer-crats to rich, productive fishing shoals.
    So I just dug through the entire glossy, jargon-ridden, heavily photo-shopped plan, seeking the letters CEO. The closest I got was section 3.1.3 of the “Strategic Directions” section, which states:

    Fan-bloody-tastic.

    To see it laid out like that shows that wether the CSA admits it or not they have real competition and if they treat their assoc. more like a "reign" than a business that needs to keep up with the demand they will find themselves redundant.
