The shortest post of yours I think I've ever read.

DCU played well but were unlucky.

    Unlucky to be playing TFC.

Dichio is Class, Pure F**kin class.

I think if Dichio didn't get that earlier goal our play would have been different. I think we would have pressed more and taken more chances. It was what DCU 15 shots to our 6. To me that says we relied more on our defense, which is not looking too bad by the way, to get us through. We can't do that all the time even with a team like DCU (who are still a very dangerous team IMO).
We need to have an front line that will take advantage slow play and stun the opposition defense.

I'm disappointed I missed it, stupid exam. I'm so happy we won though, now let's take the second half of the home and home.

Dichio was great tonight. He had the goal and he was making some great passes. Like I said....he's back!

    10 thinks I think I think....
    1) Quality substitutions from Carver today at exactly the right time.
    2) If we play as defensive as we did tonight (and in the last 5 games for that matter) on the road, we'll have very limited success
    3) Loved Dichio's grit tonight. I know he's not the ideal man to have up front, but I'll always love having him in the squad.
    4) Fred. Miss of the season?
    5) If you had of told me a month ago that Marco Velez would hold off Olivier Tebily and Julius James for a starting centre-half spot, I probably would have laughed at you.
    6) If toronto gets a result at DC, Sohen is toast
    7) Smith did enough to earn a starting spot in place of Ricketts on Saturday
    8) When was the last time Sutton made a mistake?
    9) 10 minutes into the match, I was worried no one was going to show up to the match (particulary in the east stands)....but you guys did well tonight in shitty conditions.
    10) We want Ameobi

Chill guys. I was just taking the piss with that comment since the user I quoted usually had a knack for telling us not to discuss the result immediately after the game on the previous board (unless it had an "R" in the thread title or something lol)

any reason why Ricketts was subbed 5 minutes into the 2nd half? Injury? or just b/c there are a bunch of games coming up?

I would think the latter.. Jarrod Smith was a wise choice..

Maybe because he wasn't doing anything out there.

It was a good move by Carver.

Smith looked better. Shit he is making 17k and waht is Ricketts making? I think Smith should be starting.

Good win tonite, Especially in that crappy rain. The defence was solid and when needed Sutton came through. With the exception of Edu are midfield played great. My player of the game is split between Danny Dichio, and Marvel Wynne. I would like to see Smith get more playing time . But let Carver decide that.
