guys look at this it was post on bs

""The three biggest draws (LA, DC, and TFC) would have a tough time filling a 35k-seater, let alone the Revs. I don't doubt that relocating the stadium to the Boston area would increase attendance, but we're not talking about a slight jump here, it's almost twice as much as we currently draw"" it's on page 12 post 112

It's beginning to look glaring on NE to have a strong team that can't draw. Not to mention less attractive locales getting shiny new palaces.

Don't forget... they used to have good attendance, than lost it all by fielding a poor team for several years.

I hope MLSE is looking and learning.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

Will this proposed stadium include Field Turf like in Gillette? Ours can't possibly be the only SSS in MLS to have the fake stuff, now can it?

Somerville is a good spot. Densely populated metropolitan area which is pretty much Boston and plenty of good transit access. But 35 thousand is crazy talk. Kraft was originally floating 25k but I think I think 20,000 is a better starting point. Just get a full stadium every week and the popularity will grow from there.

I'm wondering if that 35,000 number would be for the venue hosting another World Cup? If not that I'm sure the stadium would be used for US qualifications. I really hope this happens. If it does then I would definitely put a Revs away match on my list to attend.

^ 35,000 is far too small for world cup games. 40K is the current min. but there's rumblings that it'll be raised to 45K soon. Besides, the US could already hold a world cup with the smallest stadium being 65K.

    There's always Seattle

Maybe they're looking at a number like 35k with a mind to booking concerts and stuff like that.
