    Default Patio at BMO

Hey, just have a question about the patio.

Is that open to anyone who paid to get in the stadium, or is it only open to those who bought tickets for that section?

Anyone in the stadium, just walk in from either the west or end end of it.

the front row of the patio has seats that are ticketed, but the standing section behind them is open to all.

ohh theres plenty of beer drinking, there are usually enough guys to hold the spot while someone gets themselves a beer. We even have our own servers who bring us beer since they are tending to the folks at the vip tables in front of us... so there is lots of beer to go around without losing your view.

Not that I's a sombrero man myself, but I imagine the big brimmed hat helps keep you cool when it's hot and sorta dry in the rain.

The moustaches? I imagine those are strictly for the ladies to dig.

We are the Beer Tent Bandits, hence the bandido hat and mustache. Last year a couple buddies started it all off by hanging out in the beer patio while their actual seats were somewhere in the 200 section. Eventually naming themselves the 'beer tent bandits', since then the group has grown and new people are joining and bringing their hats and mustaches. All of our tickets are scattered everywhere, so the minute BMO field gets an extension on the north side, we're fucked!.... unless we manage to secure some seats in that section

me and my buddy usually stand in the patio section. we just grab singles from the scalpers (save a bit of money that way) and then stand there all game. the only problem is one of you always has to stay behind to make sure you don't lose your spot.

its a pretty good section though, during the NYRB game we kind of got shielded from the rain because of the people standing around us.
