Huge thanks to all of the volunteers from all the groups who contributed to this celebration of the first anniversary of Dichio's goal. First time in our history we got close 40 people from different groups to come out to help with a painting session. In total we had about 50 different people who worked on this project over the 4 days. Thanks to countless donors we raised over $700 to cover the cost of this joint effort.
It may not have looked they way I pictured but we accomplished something big. We proved that no matter what group we belong to Toronto FC unites us all.

This cooperation is a sign of what's to come later in the season. We are confident that this cooperation will lead to a giant
supporter funded banner that will cover the whole south end.

Toronto FC is our PASSION and BMO FIELD is OUR stadium NORTH to SOUTH and EAST to WEST.

This is just the beginning for sure.

The more projects we can get going that involve TFC supporters (notice there is no group label on that), the better.

Kudos to Deniz and all the others who participated for their hard work.

Ever since I saw you banging away at your drum at the first game I attended last season I have consistently been impressed by your contributions to the atmosphere we as fans - no matter what group - are trying to create.

I am not surprised that this, as Mrs. Workie stated, was your idea!
