We were informed that the program through MTO that does graphic licence plates is currently under review by the Government and are not accepting any new logos.

That was last year so I don't know if anything has changed.

I have tried at least a dozen times....most recently this past July. I have contacted Ms. Kathy McGibbon and PD MacMillan frmo MTO and was told that the program was under review. They also told me that individuals cannpt submit the request and that TFC and/or MLSE must petition to have the plate created. I had forwarded all this info to Paul last year along with all the contact info at the MTO to get it done.

Here is the contact info if anyone wants to give it a shot.....

Kathy McGibbon @ 416-235-5253 or e-mail her at Kathy.McGibbon@ontario.ca, as she is responsible for the Graphic Plate Program.

p.s. I have my slogan picked out already.....and it's killing me to not be able to get it.

The graphic license plate program is finally re-launching. I have a TFC-related plate (like Nature Girl) and had inquired about a TFC logo when I got the plate. For some reason, the government has my name associated with TFC and has sent me all the info...but only TFC can officially request it.

It would cost them $15,550 to join the logo program, and for that, they would get 200 plates, which they can give away or sell. These would be 00AA01, 00AA02, etc - but I don't know what the two letters in the middle would be.

The logo plates would also be available to the public, who can add six letters/numbers after the logo.

I have all of the forms, etc. but I need a contact at TFC to send them to. Preferably someone who would take this seriously and hopefully move forward with it.

    Any recommendations?

A little birdie told me recently that the paperwork is being passed on from TFC's end onto the Ministry so that this will happen. The Ministry is currently accepting applications for new logos. When this will happen (from the gov't perspective) is another question.

i'm also looking for TFC plate frames. The one on the MLSnet store is crappy -- it's more about MLS than TFC.

I received the same email a while ago, and passed the info to Paul. Sounds like it's in the works. Too late for mothers day, unforunately.

It's been over 11 months since the last entry here. My license plates are almost 30 years old, and I'll need to replace them as soon as some cop takes a look when he's having a bad day.

I'd love a TFC graphic license plate.
