I am not sure if someone has posted this before, but if Ruiz shows up they will play him with Barrett.

It's going to be great to see those two up front together.
that's gonna be dangerous.. barrett was already dangerous by himself, but add in someone who can take the pressure off, and he'll have more space.
I look forward to seeing that...
please please please please do good!
Barrett has surprised me so far - hope he keeps it up.
I have to admit that Barrett has shown me more then I though he would.
If we play 2 up front, it means no more Harmse....yessssssssss!!!!
If Ruiz shows up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when Ruiz shows up we will have Ruiz, Dichio and Barret. Will that be the first time we've had a viable (scary) front line for 4-4-2? Could this lead to some roster stability? (neither Dichio or Barret are on for international call ups). Colour me excited!
Dichios not likely for call ups in England and Barrett is still a possibility but prob not until his scoring rate goes up. Id bet Dichio on bench while injured but starting and subbed off when healthy.
We also have Smith and Ibbe too. So theirs some depth for subs.
Doubt Smith will see much time on the pitch from now on.
I think we are about to witness the greatest striker tandem in our brief history. The potential is tremendous if Barrett maintains his current form and Ruiz can resemble the player he was prior to his injury...

Mo has made the right moves in the last month.
^ I'm not so sure about that. Have you watched England at the international level lately? They badly need to sort out their striker position. I'm thinking a Dichio/Owen or Dichio/Agbonlahor combination would do wonders.
Who's gone again 7-8 players? which ones does anyone know?
Sutton, Brennan, Marshall, Robinson, Ruiz, Guevara, maybe Wynne?, maybe Ibbe?
Why does everyone keep saying 'if' Ruiz shows up?
Would everyone give the guy a break? Let him actually do something wrong before you chastise him. Geez.
Ok so smith didn't get a call up? Or they're not playing? or James? or Velez? or the other Smith?

^From what I can gaver Carver said that he would arrive late last night.
Ruiz played on Wednesday that is plenty of time to get her. Amado played in Central America on Wednesday and he got here before Saturday. Ruiz could have and probably should've been here (even if he didn't play). Reports saying that he doesn't want to be here and post saying "if" he shows up are only coming up because Ruiz still hasn't reported (as far as anyone outside the team knows).
What Carver said:
http://toronto.fc.mlsnet.com/news/te....jsp&team=t280"When he didn't turn up at the weekend, everybody was saying it was because he doesn't want to play on the turf, but that wasn't the case," said Coach John Carver.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
"They tell me his one of the best finishers in the league so that excites me. I've heard he is a good guy in the locker room and that he's a good character. What I'm not going to do is start a war with him. You can't do that with certain players. Some players need a cuddle to get the best out of them and you have to get in the faces of others. This is a guy who you have to show respect to"
This does suggests that there are issues.
