After today's display, I move that we change the lyrics of:
We all laugh at the yellow football team
to:
We all laugh at the Columbus diving team

I agree...
Check your manhood at the door and start diving...
Brutal...!!!
"...Money wasn't tight, but it like, it wasn't right..."
not just the diving was bad, but the frequency at which they did it, it completely killed the flow of the game... there should have been yellow cards handed out earlier in the game for it...
They were falling all over the place and really getting in the faces of the refs all day, looked like TFC was getting a bit under the Yellow Team's skin.
Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
It was getting ridiculous. Sigi Schmid must be taking them to the pool too often because they were hitting the turf like it was full of chlorine.
at least we know why Columbus is #1 in league right now
I heard they had a nasty outbreak of the Bends in the locker room after the match. You cant come up so quickly after a deep dive, its dangerous.......
Danny Dichio could have easily gone down during that game in the first half and probably got a penelty but hes aint no peice of poooooo scum diver! Made me proud!
While completely accurate, I think this thread wins the "Most Obvious Topic" award!!! As for Kevin Stott, I read their post-game thread on Big Soccer and they feel the referee was against them and screwed them over! This after the fouls were 14-6 in their favour. Can you imagine? My only gripe with Stott is that he let the Schelotto farce go on way too much.
A follow-up on what I said earlier: Crew fans accuse our team of being hacks and call us "Thugs FC" (real original, I know) but we're the most sporting team according to the MLS fair play table.

Crew fans (when they exist) can go stand under a piano being lifted to the second floor.
And to add to the point...TFC players don't dive.
^^^^
Are their any more numbers? besides 10 9.6 and a 6.5 LOL

RED PATCH BOYS
The Crew are a bunch of whiners because they need to excuse their diving team. The only way to do so is to claim the other team was "mugging" them...but I watched the game at home and besides the Dichio "bodycheck" (LOL!) Columbus was simply doing sommersaults and tumbles, it looked like a kindergarten gym class.
What a fucken Idiot, very typical diver and at the same a fucken baby. Before yesterday I kinda had some sort of respect for him. After that display at the game, I have a different view of the player. He should of been thrown earlier in the game.NOT IMPRESSED ONE BIT!

Easy with the racial stuff dude. And this topic is already being covered, no need to start another one.
you're telling me you don't appreciate this? superb acting imo.

I don't disagree with your assesment of Schelotto, but there's no need to make it a nationalist issue by sterotyping an entire continent of players...you'll be pissing off a good portion of our supporters!
haahhahah I guess its not ok to say south americans love to dive..
Can't speak truth I guess
Some players go down easy, some fight their way through tackles...I've seen players of every nation do both.
Where are you located and how much do you charge?
No, it's not ok.
And it's not ok to say Italian players dive.
And Portuguese players dive.
And African players dive.
To highlight one region creates the impression that other regions don't do it, which of course is not true and therefore throws your whole "can't speak the truth" business right out the window.
All players have the potential to dive.
That video is pure class, ending is perfect.
When I see games in both europe or south America. I see an occasional dive here and there in various european legues. When I watch games from South America I just notice a lot more diving and antics compared to european legues.I am not putting anyone down but this what I see. A couple of friends of mine one from Brazil and the other from Argentina say the exact same thing Its just how it is!
I didn't know Africa was a country. The point is let's stay away from the traditional arguments that have been seen on these boards which usually were about the above stated regions. I am only stating previous examples of such arguments.
Any point worth stating can be expressed without having to single out any one group.
