    Default MLS tonight

Anybody watching MLS tonight? DC Chicago is a heck of a game. Blanco and McBride look very dangerous but DC's leading with 13 mins left on a blown corner assignment, header from Fred.

San Jose's playing New England on HDNET. Huckerby already has two chances, looks very dangerous. (He's got 2 goals in his first three games, for those who suggested we shouldn't sign him.)

Woah, huge goal from Ronnie O'brien, great setup, on a play started by...you guessed it. Huckerby.

where are the game threads for this? We needed KC to lose and they are currently tied... Also needed DCU to lose and well Chicago is nowhere to be found!

You bet your ass I'm watching this. All these players come into the league are really increasing the quality incrementally. These games are really entertaining: Columbus, Chicago....all good games.

Fucking Shitcago! Couldn't score a single goal to minimize the damage.
Hope McBride breaks his leg and they go winless the rest of the year.

New DC goalie Louis Crayton, A Liberian dude, looked excellent. Saved the game twice, huge improvement on Wells.

For some reason I'm thinking if TFC did sign Huckerby, we'd go far in playoffs...

Y'know, since I"ve blocked Giambac and several other of the idiot brigade on here, there's not much currency in crying "I told you so", but holy shit, this is why the guy could score 15 and set up another 15 in this league; I now officially hate the turf, logical or not.

I think the new signings are going to inject some energy into the guys. New York might be a little overconfident playing at home, too, and they're adjusting to several new players.

Yeah Huckerby's lookin great but don't worry we'll have someone better when we get our DP.
And if anyone starts whining about how MLSE won't pay for a DP they need to give their head a shake.
Even MLSE can recognise that a 2-4 million DP will have far more effect on this team than the dozen plus 2-4 million dollar players they sign for the Leafs and Raptors.
    It'll happen.

If TFC miss the playoffs, how many of the supporters will stick around for MOs post season speech, you know, about how he is going to sign 7 excellent new players .We do have a lot of draft choices now. And look, we are about to lose our number one pick, in Edu.......In one door, out the other.....we cannot win with the current team, and possibly, without the current manager......There are a hundred Huckerbys in the world of soccer, but MO has no idea how to find them...now that the window is closed, I am no longer confident in MOs ability to lead this team, and for me, it is clear why he got fired from his last job.

Well the good news is that the Crapids have beat KC.
They seem to be our friends of late.

    Just a side not:

You can sign players out of contract until Sept.15th. The window applies to international transfers not free agents. So other Huckerbys can still come here
