DC United's starters beat NE's reserves and Charleston wins in penalties over Seattle (avoiding the chaos of what to do with the Champions Leauge qualification slot of a team that is about to disappear in the legal sense).

Those results were the only ones that would lead to the final being played at an MLS home stadium.

Who cares? No one! I mean, a USL team against an MLS home team with great support? Its in the bag.... right?
