Montreal put 4 past them last night.

From what I see with DC United they can easily score goals (especially Benteke) but concede tons.

So we need to bury our chances and be clinical and avoid any bad turnovers as Benteke will capitalize on them.

Two teams with the most yellow cards going at it, DC with 48 and TFC with 46

Was surprised DC dropped points to Mtl on Wednesday. Still a tough fixture but maybe more of a chance to steal points from this game than I initially assumed?

Benteke is a tank & to my mind having an MVP year (Messi being Messi that ain't gonna happen)

DCU spend all game trying to get the ball to him. Like Acosta, we will need to focus on reducing service to him - a man on isn't enough.

One of their midfielders got a red card too so will miss this match and from reddit seems like he was decent.

I hope Insigne is back and Owusu.

Would be surprised if Owusu is back - better to rest heading into a layoff.

Their offence entirely relies on lumping in balls to Benteke. Long is the best aerial defender in the league. If anyone can shut him down, it should be our guys.

Agree 100% but I didn't see anything from Kerr to justify him being out there. I'd rather give Sharp a run out and Kerr off the bench at best but even then, Mailula would probably be more involved in play that Kerr has been so far in MLS matches.

Kerr has been very underwhelming in MLS this season. His contract is up this year. I'm honestly not sure I would renew.
Would he be on any championship team in MLS? If the answer is no then we should do better.

He seems like the type of player that would be on a club like Colorado or KC and his name would pop up a couple times a year on the MLS weekly wrap up highlight packs.

Not going to complain about the yellows.

Passion when first unleashed gets yellow

They will be reduced next season when people new to this league get used to things.

FWIW, we have nobody 1 card away from a suspension right now.

The rule is ...do 5 without, you lose one on the accumulation.

    Owusu is officially out.

Insigne likely out as it doesn't look like he traveled back.

Richie supposed to see some minutes tonight.

With Richie back this team starts to get interesting. There are easily 2-3 spots he could cover and with him and Spicer on the field we have a lot of speed to stretch back lines.

Looking forward to the game we finally get to see a first choice 11.

You would think that being the 2nd highest paid player in the league, you would make every effort to play and show your worth.
