Could be a 4 back formation. Franklin and Petretta are probably the guys they would use as fullbacks in that situation.

Google has it as a 3-5-2 which doesn't sound right to me.

I'd be surprised if that's not a 433. Looking forward to watching Spicer at LW.

That said, Herdman might be trying Gomis out at CCB.

New England's CBs (Kessler and Farrell) aren't exactly speed merchants, Spicer playing off their shoulders could cause a lot of issues.

I could be completely wrong but i prefer 4 in the back. Would love to have Long but such is life, he was on a mission to get Ejected after the non-call foul on him last week. I also want to see the our front three to cause a bit of damage.

Just saw someone adjust a small white box on a tripod by the corner flag. I notice they are also on either side of the team benches. Does someone know what they are?

To beat Porter ball, you have to be patient in defence, stuff the middle and go hard and quick on the sides once you have the ball.

You can't be giving the ball away like Flores has been doing.

I love Flores defensively but attacking it’s increasingly starting to look like 11 v 10

Two not very good teams here - both need a break to score anything.

That was not the most enjoyable half of football I have ever seen.

To be fair he's playing as a backline shield, a pure anchor. I think he's doing okay. His passing has been better tonight but that sloppy barge in the back was worrisome.

I thought we played okay. Osorio seemed to struggle a little to keep up on the press but got better as the half went on.

I thought either team could've squeaked a goal.

Kaye got quite the boo fest when he came on

This ref is pedantic about mental behaviour - he's calling fouls properly so far but he's trying to control people getting aggravated, which just gets people more aggravated.

Very uninspired. However I will say, I criticized him, but that was maybe the best half so far for Prince. He's looked dangerous with limited supply and given us an outlet, exactly what I want to see from him.

    Otherwise that was remarkably forgettable.

He’s a Bradley-esque passer for the most part. Balls are usually side-to-side and not between the lines. First touch, pass weighting also not great. He does occasionally make quick decisive passes though, I’ll give him that.

I still think the midfield needs a remake. You need guys who play centrally that can quickly shuttle box-to-box in today’s game. As a group we’re still too slow.

His intensity gauge is set at “semi professional”. Now he’s referring a level higher and it’s coming off as more aggressive than it actually is. I don’t disagree with most of his calls but he’s too quick to his book.

Oso doing a lot of complaining out there. I’d much rather he use that energy to create something, anything.
