Long and Flores start! Spicer is on the bench.

Maybe a 5-3-2? JMR and Bernie as the wingbacks, Coello/Flores/Longstaff as the CMs and Insigne playing off Prince?

FWIW, MLS has it as a 3-4-2-1

Hopefully they're all fit. Feels almost like dodging a bullet, that lineup.

    Fede at WB I presume?

That lineup looks like subs of Spicer for JMR & Mabika for Long.

Bernie and JMR look like they must be wingbacks. Very interesting to see how Coello, Flores and Longstaff line up.

Love how he didn't quit on that, just kept the run on goal assuming they might not win it. Great goal!

Loved that last ditch tackle by Berna too. He probably won't have done that last season
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Berna on the defensive play before that goal...impressive WB play.

Early days of course, but JMR has absolutely looked more engaged.

Looks like this is gonna be a fun one. Can see this being a 3-2, 4-3 kind of game.

Already seen a couple of times where guys can't figure out the depth needed on the pass due to the background.

That and Rosted is not doing so hot here - keeps getting beat on the overlap & the quick turn. He's biting in too hard.

I believe those are the cables for the foul ball netting.

Looks like a great shot stopper, but he does have big "the ball?! Kick that fucker 20 rows deep" vibes to him.

Need to get Insigne away from the sideline. He's just getting overloaded out there.

We're not pressing as effectively as last game, which would help.

Flores having more difficulty in this game as all three NY mids are rotating positions to fuck up the cover.

Yep. Longstaff has a lot of quality, but he is struggling in an attacking role. Maybe bring JMR over to the right, bring Spicer and Kerr on for Longstaff/Coello and Prince.
