Ridiculous pass from Berna, that was a potential tap in if Petretta could've drilled that across the box, tough one-touch play though.

Gomis is actually looking like quite the player back there. It he can keep this up, we got a keeper.

33 on Charlotte looks like an NBA center out there.

Think I prefer Gomis as a defender than a keeper tbh.

Listen, TFC might not thank me but get the contract out, put it on the table. Let him sign it. Let him write whatever numbers he wants to put on there, given what he's done since he's come in. Johnnys at the wheel, man. He's doing it. He's doing his thing. TFC are BACK

… sorry lads had to do it lol

We seem to be developing a nice little rivalry with Charlotte.

Strong effort defensively once again. World class strike by Insigne. Well deserved victory.

    The Herdman effect is real.

The way we're getting these wins I don't think is exactly sustainable so it's great that we're picking up these points.

Clearly a million times better defensively than last year, Flores the biggest single reason for that. But the chance creation issues are still there. We probably can't count on an Insigne worldie every game. We had some real trouble building anything through Charlotte's midfield, especially in the first half.

Hopefully Herdman can work on that, he's doing an incredible job so far. 0 goals against through 3 games is unthinkable after last year.

Shoutout to Gavran for living up to the moment today.

Jokes aside the ultimate natural body language litmus test- when insigne smashed that banger the first person he organically ran to was herdman. Not his family or his jersey or the sky or looking down- it was a direct bolting run to hug the manager

    - if he isn’t bought in (even berna with how he fights for team mates now and his Defense work rate) - I dunno what would constitute lol. Big litmus test pass there

This is clearly a different team than last year.

3 straight clean sheets, never would have predicted that.

    Winning feels good.

Gavran wasn't tested often but he was definitely solid.

Hope long getting pulled off was just preventative and a more proactive approach to reducing injuries then our prior coaches. He’s been a rock back there too and a big reason we aren’t a mess in the back line

Shoutout to Longstaff for providing the assist ... lol. Seriously though, it's easy to see he can read the game at a high level. I liked how he was motioning to teammates to keep their heads while everyone was celebrating the goal. Looking forward to seeing much more of him.

Played the goal back 10 times since FT, of all the reactions to that worldie, I think I enjoy O'Neill's the most. Zlatan-esque casual walk with his arms extended. Love it.

3 straight games with a clean sheet. This is a new TFC and I love it. Thought Gomis, Flores and O'Neill were excellent today.
