Due to the schedule, I would personally leave a lot of our main guys at home. Let them rest and not travel. Especially as this is a two leg thing.
This is Mailula's time to shine.

Yep real grass, the stadium had been listed as high as 9-10K at times. with the track and all that space guess they had people there. Wonder if the CSA tried to get Saputo since Montreal is at Forge next week?

Claude Robillard been there a few times , have been there for the old Montreal Supra who played in the old CSL for a numbers of years before the league folded . The Montreal
Impact played there in the old A league , APSL and pretty sure the USL too . They use to pack the place fits around 13000 and the Impact would get close to that regularly playing in the A League and then USL. It was the last stadium the Impact played in before Saputo was built . Not a bad place to watch a game with stands on both sides of the field .

Do we know if the stadium is set up for cameras? I.e is it likely to get aired? It says it should be aired on Fubo & One Soccer..but time conflicts with Pacific V. Atletico Ottawa..so only one of those two games will air on Fubo

Send TFC2 and a few of the bench (Mailula, Mabika, Kerr etc). This is a 2 leg affair. No need to send everyone.

Big game at home against NYCFC this weekend.

If you listened to the Herdman post game interview, he said there was already 9-10 players that started preparing for this game instead of Dallas. Have to assume that’s all the subs + some TFC 2 players.

However, he also said everyone who can travel will travel. I can’t really see them flying Fede in though just for bench support.

Seems serious about playing a strong squad.

Based on who is in travel pictures today we know the following six players made the trip, that leaves 12 more spots, some which are pretty obvious including two GKs. John did talk about dressing 18 even though you can go up to 20. If there is a short term TFC II signing or two, we likely will not hear about them until tomorrow.

Berna, Kosi, Kevin Long, Cash, Oso, Flores

I really want the Reds to go all out and blow up CS St. Laurent tomorrow, taking any pressure off the second leg, get 5 or so goals like they did vs. Simcoe.

On one hand I like that Herdmann doesn't want to leave anything to chance.

On the other hand, our match against NYCFC this weekend is pretty big and would hate to go into it fatigued or banged up.

If Fede gets minutes that's a pretty cool opportunity for those players.

FWIW, Gavran was the player brought forward yesterday to talk about this game. I would be shocked if he doesn't start.

In terms of playing a strong squad, a maximum of four reserve players are allowed to be on the roster via short-term loans for a match (at least for MLS matches, but I wouldn't be surprised if Canada Soccer uses that limit as well to prevent teams from treating it as a complete after-thought, given the US Open Cup reserve team debacle, where they couldn't just call the team the first team and be all second teamers had that limit), so we could never fill up a complete TFC2 squad on short-terms

There is no doubt in my mind, Gavran will get the start, TFC has typically gone with the backup for their Canadian championship runs.

That and also it is a easy fill for one of the required Canadian slots for this game.

Fubo drives me bonkers. Damn app on Android TV never works, just tells me I have no wifi, even as every other app on the TV is working fine. Nothing fixes it. End up watching on the computer.

That's odd that a wifi message would be app specific. I use an Android operating system on my Nvidia Shield box with no issues with Fubo. Is the Android the OS for your smart TV where you are using the Fubo app? I purposely stay away from using smart TV apps just because I think they can be flaky and not sure the app developers spend much time on all their versions of their app and probably put most of their time into versions for the main streaming boxes that are out there.

It's definitely their app, because it's searched so much as a message that it's a Google answer.

Edit: EVEN WORSE, it only affects the One Soccer channel. Everything else on Fubo works fine.

    Bananas.

I'm generally the same, if I can stream it from my computer I will. But Fubo's page doesn't allow that.

Hmm...like a patchy rarely cut bumpy Caribbean pitch

Yeh, Cash ain't our forward option right now - a free header from 3 yards out and it goes wide - and he's already had a few passes go short - and takes 1 too many touches every time.
