Good shout. He is a similar profile to Flores. Can't imagine the idea of playing against those two would thrill most attackers who value keeping their legs in one piece.

I think the trialists might be Charlie staniland cm from Sheffield United and Hassan ayari (lw) who was also with Sheffield but is a few agent. J.m.r recently followed both of them and herdmans comments line up with these two.

I thought Ayari might be one as he was just released last year. He's a bit older and a winger but had some goals.

Boy it's surprising how some guys just don't make it when they seem dead certs.

I just noticed Stevie Gerrard's cousin, who had 20 goals in 21 games for Liverpool Under 18s four years ago, is without a club.

    https://www.transfermarkt.com/bobby-...spieler/401543

Defected to Fiorentina u19s the next year, didn't make the first team, moved to Derby County u23. Played 12 Premier League 2 games and didn't score, got cut.

EDIT: According to this story, his agent negotiated a £1.8M sale to Fiorentina, and then he got cut. But he fired the agent shortly after the move, realizing he'd made a mistake.

    https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...ially-25741835

Tried a season in Serie D or C1a or something, played seven games and left.

Maybe it's the family tie or ego or expectations, or perhaps he just didn't shine outside a great team for his age group.

But I'd think those numbers for Liverpool u18s would merit another look somewhere.

Staniland is still with them. Maybe they've told him already he won't get a first team deal at the end of the year.

Herdman seems to be using his English connections more than the CMNT connections so far.

Ayari makes sense as he likely qualifies as a domestic player being from New York.

Staniland looks like a profile similar to Ythallo, a young guy from a good academy who needs to get professional minutes. Maybe a loan with an option to buy to TFC II makes sense.

I do wonder about using TFC II to kind of circumvent the MLS salary cap. Say TFC II is technically the one who pays a 250k transfer fee for Ythallo, does that leave TFC clear of that charge on their budget?

Given how Canada is playing today that is understandable. Canada is horrible. Buchanan has regressed. He has only played 33 minutes since January and it shows.

The way Canada's performances fell off after Herdman left and how TFC's performances picked up after Herdman took over is definitely making him look like a big difference maker. I think people read too much into those CMNT connections, he wasn't calling Lucas Cavallini into camp because he thought he was a great striker, it was because he thought he was better than Akindele.

I'm guessing you mean Shaffleburg's goal. Plus his rocket off the post a few minutes earlier. Oh Bob, thanks for everything :eyeroll:

    Grrr....

    So angry, still.

So fucking dumb. So dumb. So, so, so fucking dumb.

Insigne looked pretty damn cold in that warmup shot.

And based on this Sheffield connection we are building, I welcome former Swansea man, Oli McBurnie as our DP striker this summer!

I think it's dope. I'd rather keep the 5K, but still... emerald velvet sweatpants with a high collar? Are you kidding me?

Plot twist: Insigne was cold not injured, and just wanted to jump into his comfy Louis Vuitton pajamas

If someone gave me those, I'd wear them. Not sure when or where, but I'd wear them. They look very comfortable. I respect that Insigne is a practicality over visuals kind of man. I think that's a great example of the 'results at all costs even if it's not pretty to everyone' approach Hermdan is bringing to this whole organization.

So realistically how short are we during the Copa America International Window?

Honduras is out so it seems like we will only be without Osorio, Richie and SJ?

    Good for Bernie.

Is it too early to have heard anything on Insigne’s injury?

    (Injuries to fashion, aside.)
