    That is good news.

    Shocked Insigne starts....

Gomis as a wingback behind Insigne should be interesting.

    So will the setup be

    Insigne-Owusu-Bernardeschi
    Coello-Flores-Osorio
    Petretta-Long-ONeill-Gomis

    or

    Owusu
    Insigne-Osorio
    Petretta-Coello-Flores-Bernardeschi
    Gomis-Long-ONeill

    Fotmob has the latter

The thing i really liked about Herdman is that he can have his teams adapt based on the opponent or situation.

Maybe because New England's new surface is a shocking improvement over their old worn rug.

Great call by the centre official. Would have been easy to cave to VAR.

That finish was certainly deserving of injured hammy celly. Testing fate, though.

Everything was special about that.. except for the way Lorenzo was grabbing his hammy during the celebration.

That was all part of the celebration. It is popular on FIFA.

I think that WAS his celebration, a sort of tongue in cheek "I can play on turf"

    That's how I read it.

The gap in play and tactics between Herdman and Bradley is like comparing a Rembrandt to a children’s drawing in crayons.

    Well that was fun.

Coello's inconsistency can be a little maddening, and Owusu missed a sitter. Rest, all good.
