Another reporter is saying they've heard that instead of a fourth DP, they're opting to allow a team to have three full DPs AND three under 22 DPs.
So they no longer have to use a main DP slot to qualify for two more, they just get six slots total, three senior and three u22.
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
I've watched him week in and week out with Atletico Ottawa. He had one howler at the start of the season that cost a goal, but improved as the season went along. However, they went on a 7 game winless skid that made them miss the playoffs and really showed how mentally fragile the majority of the team was (reminded me of TFC tobias time - they would lose the game on a goal in the last 10 minutes of play). I think that may have been a chance to grow their mental mindset, as they recovered to win the last game of the season against the eventual playoff winners Forge. I'd be happy for him to come back to ATO for next season if you don't want him.
According to Molinaro's feed
Seba announcing TFC not looking at him for 2024
The talk won't be over until Seba officially retires of course, but glad we are moving on.
Trades can be made official today. Re-entry draft is tomorrow and free agency begins on the 13th.
Edit - tomorrow is the end of year waivers. Re-entry stage 1 is on the 14th.

Per: @footyinsider247, Philly is set to bid for 28 y/o English LB, Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill, as are Toronto FC & Birmingham City. Valued at 400K €, in final 6 months of contract w/ Puskas AFC (Hungary). Most of career spent in Netherlands, also ex-Arsenal youth & England U19.
Has anyone seen the anything on the college combine this past weekend, have seen literally no coverage at all. Coverage for it has declined greatly in the past few years, can not even find a mock draft? I remember when the games played between all the prosects at the combine were streamed. TFC does have the first overall we have to remember.
Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!

Also, is there an expectation that, as a TFC pick of last season’s MLS SuperDraft, CF Charlie Sharp will finally join the club this season?
Also, should TFC decide to sign Papa Mar Boye, an MLS International Spot, would be required!?
Gressel is available after just winning an MLS Cup. Worth going after? Could fill one of those wide midfielder positions in a 3-4-3.
Free agency day is here. Gonna assume we sign some non-marquee players to be atleast stop gap starters for next season.
Any opinion on Kris Twardek as very cheap depth? Not familiar with.
TFC have the first-choice pick for the MLS Waiver List. Should they claim anyone?

If we didn't have 20 players on guaranteed contracts, I would've taken a punt on Sean Rea. Only 21, and won best young player in the CPL last year. Didn't see how he was with Montreal this year. But with all the glut on our roster, we don't have any spots for projects.
Anyone see players on the free agent list that could obviously help us? I mean players who we can afford (not Miles Robinson) or who aren’t likely to be off to Europe or resigning with their clubs?
Derrick Williams, maybe? The free agent list doesn’t look to me like last season where we might snag two or three really desirable players… but maybe I’m missing something/someone.
I have a hard time taking this guy seriously when in the first player pick, for us, he talks about turning Prince Owusu, a classic target man striker, into a number 10. And he thinks a kid who just played in League One is going to supplant him (and presumably DeAndre Kerr) at striker.
IT's just youthful nonsense.
I'm also a little skeptical about us going for a guy who had six goals in League One Ontario a year ago with the first pick.
