Also, unable to find the source, yet, IIRC, MLS may have indicated that any new Adidas club jerseys for this season would feature an Adidas’s central crest and logos design. Maybe for any introduced home/away kits? Or not, and then only for those of clubs that earned the third kit; supposedly LAFC, CFIM, LAG, FCKC and PTFC?

Anyone see anything yet? What's replacing the grey and white?

I feel that when we have a local kit nerd/blogger designing our jersey we have more manpower and expertise than when addidas designs our jersey.

of course the kit nerd over-designs like mad but then, at addidas we probably have an intern assigned to our jersey. Just give us a red kit with a white logo or the reverse. it can’t be very difficult. there are acceptable models the world over.

It was a blank canvas people could put anything on.

You could customize a graphic for it.

I'm gonna say it: this kit is pretty fucking good.

Everyone orgasms over Forward Madison's kits but ignore that it's a nightmare to wear with anything. This will look nice under a dress-shirt, under a hoodie, over a sweatshirt when it's cold, I am a fan of this kit. Fight me.

The badge background is strange since it's not even the primary logo. Its a generic looking Crest too. Why not use a CN Tower

Edit: someone on Mls reddit said it looks like a corded computer mouse. I see it now lol

I also quite like it. Although I played soccer in the 80s and 90s when kits were at their most garish. I had one that looked a lot like the new NYRB except the zig zags went horizontally. Have always hated that kit. I prefer minimalist kits now.

That said, I don't like the badge background. Wish they'd take that out. I also notice on X people thinking that crest is a new rebrand. Not that that matters.

I am in the vast minority when it comes to not liking TFC's current logo, but idk I like the FTC logo. I'm a weirdo like that.

Man, some of the reactions on twitter & that reddit to this "potential" kit are so over the top, you'd think people feel the need to be performative on social media....oh wait.

Seriously, seen worse, seen better. Not meh a much as...fine I suppose. In essence, a white tshirt with a few things on it. Not sure I'd pay $125 for it but then....my fav is the 2017 long sleeve without the star so what do I know.

will probably not be picking it up til it hits the discount shelves next season but will probably look pretty sharp with red shorts or white shorts with red trim+red socks.

That poor fidelity badge make it look like the knockoff generic sports teams kit you find in the Giant Tiger sports section, or the lad who used to sell (dunno if he still does) the knockoffs against the fencing on the northside of the tracks on gameday. Go Team! Go fTc lol. Nice of Garber to get a few MLS shield silhouettes stamped on there or computer mice for the eMLS/esports folks - complete with a doctoring of 'Greater Toronto Area', to 'Global Toronto Area' on the bottom right tag. Never been a fan of that minimalist logo - if they wanted a re-brand, at least get something a bit more classic and timeless like the TFC academy eagle designs.

With being a kit designed and authorized a year or so ago - its fairly reflective of the leadership and Ops/backoffice we have going (non-Herdman group), wasn't expecting much. At least Bayern's brass have a culture of rigid principles & tradition, Keep their logo and tells Adidas to stuff it when there's a push for some creative re-branding to help cater to a younger demographic/sell kits.

I don’t hate it. Better than the abomination from last year and I like the updated crest they’ve been using from TFC2.

Now, please, for the love of god, get rid of that 2022 trash kit and get us a proper red jersey next year.

Sensing you may not, take your pick, appreciate the ‘Whale’s Tail’, ‘Fly Swatter’ or ‘Computer Mouse’ background motif.

So, EAFC put basically those same kits into the game today. That all but confirms it.

What store was this kit found at? Isn’t this the second one in a row that turned up at some discount store before it was widely released?

It looks like back to back wooden spoons for the TFC jersey design team.

Are the shields symbolic of shielding the players from criticism?

I suspect this latest terrible effort was the bastard child of corporate teamspeak.

Basically, they wanted to keep the grey-and-white squares from last year's away shirt, as it sold well.

But then the same and/or different suits wanted it to be "primarily red and white", to placate fans due to last year's abortion AND to psychologically tie in with the Nats and Herdman.

In other words, it's idiotic, the kind of low-grade wankery that comes from trying to please disconnected executives.

It took me a moment to realize the white on the new away kit was anything other than white. I think I have to see it on the pitch and TV to see if it works or not. Looks a bit subtle to me.

It's okay I suppose though - but it would have been nice to have a red kit again. That atrocious home kit has to go.

My favourite so far this decade is last year's third kit. It's the kind of thing I'd thought I'd hate. But watching it on the pitch, I love it!

Or back to back wooden spoons. It’s like seeing an unintended face in an abstract painting, once you do it you can’t go back. This one will always reminds me of the wooden spoon. It’s also a pretty dreadful jersey. What the hell are those wooden spoon-like things?
