after watching Casey today -- not sure I'd want him back.... he gets lots of chances but he can't seem to finish... just like all the guys we had last year who are gone now.

Tebily was one of the most solid defenders our team has ever fielded, bar none.

From what I saw of him, he seemed to be. It is pretty disapointing how little we saw and how quick he left.

Tebily is in the same category as Ronnie O. Quitters, so no point in mentioning them in this discussion.

Casey for sure. Imagine having two bald, tough-ass strikers!
Having him and Dichio play together would terrify the entire league.

    I want Colin Samuel back.

    Now wait... hear me out...

He was strong on the ball and had a nice shot, his major fall back was his speed (or lack there of). Unlike skill, phsyical fitness can be worked on at any age. I wouldn't put him in my starting XI but he would have made a great depth player when an offensive sub is needed.

Factor in that at $100k he costs the same as Marco Reda, Chris Pozniak and Todd Dunivant and you have a pretty good deal there.

altho Samuel was making nearly 200K this season... his salary last year was pro-rated.
at 100K sammy would have been a good sub.. 200K I would debate it.....

Ahhh thats what I'm missing. I'll agree 200k is too much under this salary cap for what you're getting. But then again, its not like we're using the cap space this year (unless Mo proves me wrong this week)

For those of you who said Pozniak, congrats, you won the thread and selected the only real correct answer.

Alternatively, for those of you who said Buddle, congrats, you've proven you can look at a goal-scoring table and mash your keyboard with your face until a semi-coherent post results.
