Another reason why I'm not sold on Herdman for TFC - he has favourites that make no sense based on data.

Yeah, I’m starting to think Mabika is a Doniel Henry style disaster artist. He just takes a few games off in between massive screw ups

Coello and Insigne were both making a huge difference before that.

O’Neil , Mabika and Rosted have to go are all useless but of course they will go to another MLS team and shine lol . However, they are just pylons , 9 more games with these 3 unfortunately.

Charles-Andreas Brym will be our starting 9 next year if Herdman has his way.

LOL, what is Sapong even doing there? He's dancing around as Insigne is at the goalline, not attacking either post. He just doesn't react in time.

I think, like Henry, Mabika has played too much when too young and not good enough to keep his attention span.

We need another, younger VV. Someone who can actually get guys the ball in advanced positions.

He’s still great to watch. Incredibly calm on the ball.

No idea why he (berna) can’t just go up top and stay in the middle and just shoot on sight whenever he’s around the box. Being adamant on playing wide and trying to cut inside Robben style just isn’t going to work anymore for him.

Dunfields salty look despite putting on late game pressure and possibly tying it is an odd look as well lol

Honestly I’m probably warped and diluted but that actually gave me some hope. We need a real manager, GM, president etc…

Maybe the Italians can be salvaged but it won’t be with Bill up top.

Bernadeschi was excellent. Insigne helped to ignite the team a bit. I think it's pretty clear that this team would be much better and even competitive if we added a DP striker. That was our error: not getting a quality striker. It's sad we had to blow the year that way, but it's a lesson learned.

Two goals scored means we exceeded expectations in my book.

We are nowhere close to getting consistent results.

The defence and the midfield defensively apart from Ibarra (who could do with some clarity from a coach who knows what that actually means when it comes to positional play)....the defence badly needs work.

Even outside of the goals, Berna was great today. Lots of energy and constantly getting into good spots out on the right. If Oso and Servania could connect more passes with him earlier that would have helped.

Terry lost this one for himself though. What kind of idiot brings on Sapong when you can already see that Prince has a better touch and movement.

We continue to need multiple CB's.

Yeh, that look after the second goal was an indication of something other then pleasure. Almost like he was realising he would need to discuss Berna now in the post game and was working on what he was going to say.

We need a way to advance the ball without our front three always dropping back. By the time Coello and VV got a crack at it, we finally (finally) had enough passing power to get the ball into the right positions. That seemed to help Osorio too.

I feel good for Berna. He really bottomed out for a while there good to see him bounce bit even if he’s not long with TFC.

With a proper forward it will 100% work. We've had garbage forwards all year that can't even run the channels to pull a defender. Prince, looked like he at least has some touch and I liked his effort. He'll need time with both of them. What we're missing though is a true 10 who can open the field in multiple ways. We have no threat down the middle which means we rely on the outside in runs and those are easier to defend as there are less options of what to do when you're coming down the sideline.

Nobody...NOBODY...is running the inside channels. Some middle stuff but there is no midfield attacking threat - that used to be Oso and I have no clue what is stopping him from being that again. Take a look at our attacking stats - its all wide play.

If Dunfield is still in charge and wants to shake things up, he'll start next week with the guys who finished the game tonight (minus Sapong).

My personal view is I hope we seriously start a blank slate with all new staff, only a core of players because of contracts, and start anew.

There’s a difference between building a positive feedback loop by keeping people in your organization because of their Technical, leadership and winning examples so they can pass down the standard - vs. simply keeping guys around cause they are your history, and we’re supposed to keep and look after our own.

Nah - if they don’t cut, then out. If Bayern can take a decade to groom their ex goat of a GK into their CEO (Kahn), then turf him based on not holding to the standard and make trash decisions only hampering the club in a relatively short period - we can do the same thing with every single person who’s not holding to a standard we expect- regardless of how badly they bleed our kit colours. We can build those feedback loops in future players and staff. Terry is one of em to go after the change.
