This is something the league should defiitely be looking at improving. In the past the USSF turned down training sessions from League 1 refs but I am not sure how it works now but for sure the quality is poor.

Not going to be a good look for the league if Messi, Busquets, or whoever else comes over starts talking to worldwide media audiences how the officiating is a joke and holding the league back because Messi is going to get asked about these details non-stop for the next 3 years or so.
