First, this is probably the best way to follow these upcoming matches. Really just break it all down to this level.

    My predictions:

How are the backup GKs? Meh
    Mabika progress Definitely
Can Berna get integrated with the attack? Unlikely, more of the same
Will Insigne continue his quality work of late? Yes
How does MAK respond to the CanMNT situation? I think he will
How does BB react to game states in terms of formation changes & tactical adjustments & subs? Absolutely not. Things will continue to be done in a good way

Nice run down of stories to look for in this match. This team has made this the dog days of summer. And summer just started.

As expected , Luka Gavran has signed his first team deal. Would love to see this kid get a chance at some point during the next four games. Have been impressed with his play with TFC II.

Really he should. At this point we might as well get a look at him and see what he can do and give him some exposure to MLS play.

If Hedges isn’t available, I wonder if Richie will be playing CB again or if Rosted will get the start. If Rosted’s form doesn’t pick up, it’s another pretty big swing and a miss by Bob.

I'm probably forgetting something - I know Rosted had a very bad 1/2 hour after he'd been off for a month, but wasn't he pretty decent before that? Or that was just with Hedges.

I think Rosted had been fine overall. Which isn't good enough given his salary (almost as much as Hedges).

Anyways, I'm increasingly ambivalent about this team. Will I watch the game? Probably. But if they suck it's probably getting turned off in a hurry.

I have zero expectations for this. A draw is basically a win against a team like Cincinnati.

Imagine saying that 2 or 3 years ago.

Please, *anything* but a draw. Have us get absolutely massacred and force a clear out of the rot, or, have us dominate and suddenly give us hope that said rot may turn us around and not be so bad after all. Just stop fucking drawing. Either be good or be shit so we can move somewhere

A bad loss in this game is not going to move the needle for BB being let go.

Gets us closer to it than another draw. Any progress is progress. We've a dead duck management team and the sooner we eject them the better chance we have of turning around a salvageable season

If we can't be good, let's just get to bad as quick as possible while there's still time

    I had a dream we lost 7-1.

I don’t think getting plunked does it by itself but I think it puts him on razors edge. Ever our inept owners can only ignore so much from the deck of their Muskoka cottages.

Nah. Bob's got a tactical masterclass on deck that'll have us playing in a good way.

How does Bernie get that ball in and nobody is within 5 yards making a run?

Their mids & defenders are not used to each other so things are being done slow.

This ref is going to lose control of this game, I think.

"He's onside," says the idiot commentator, when there's clearly a pick on Laryea at the midfield to spring Acosta that the linesman should have seen. Man, this league...

Yeh, this ref can't keep up with the speed yet...that's twice he's blown for fouls by TFC....2 seconds after TFC gets the ball and looking like he isn't going to call things.

Not sure how a forward is that open in that part of the box..even with the rebound.

Other first half color commentator highlights:

    “I’d suck Messi’s *** “
    “Irregardless”

Frustration is taking over. We started so well and are just losing all composure after that goal.

I'm sorry, Kaye's short passing is just atrocious. Unbelievably inaccurate and sloppy.

CJ Sapong should be subbed at half. That was an atrocious display of striker play if I’ve ever seen one. No anticipation, poor touches, no nose for goal whatsoever.

So far, I've been correct in this post from a week ago...except our chances have been kinda meh...

This has the look of a 3-1 loss to me - they are winning 1-0 at the half where we had chances but did not score. They run away with 2 more before 70 & we score 1 in the 80's.
